Stay away. If you are looking for a rude cook who picks and chooses what you can and can’t order this is your spot. I went in on a Saturday evening and wanted to order a variety of things to try. Since moving to Pooler I haven’t found the authentic Mexican food I grew to love so much in Chicago. I tried to order two quesa birria tacos and a steak taco but the guy said I had to order a minimum of three tacos each. I also wanted just two flautas and a single small quesadilla to share with the table but he said I had to order a full plate with 4 flautas that came with rice and beans. I ordered the full meals because I was excited to try quality food. The food was about what you would expect from a gas station place holding everything in a steam table. Not the best. The kicker was as I was eating another customer came and ordered in Spanish and requested only 2 tacos and a quesadilla and there was no issue. I felt profiled because I didn’t order in Spanish and I was the only gringo in the place. Overall food was 3/5 service was nonexistent. Cook it at home or go without if this is the only option. Hate to run down a small business but the guy was extra rude and took advantage of the fact there were no prices listed on...
Read moreI can’t believe so much favor can fit in such a small place! It open recently and thou I’ve seen it a couple of times today was the day I decided to give it a try! And I’m not disappointed! The staff is willing to accommodate your taco desires so that you get the taco the way you want it, and with so many options, the sky is the limit. I had a Carne Asada taco with guacamole, hot salsa, cilantro and a grilled jalapeño pepper.... it hit the spot just right. Then I went for the Mexican style lamb, some cilantro, lime juice, salsa, salt.... and you won’t need anything else. My only regret is not having a bigger stomach so that I could try more tacos on my visit. I’m definitely coming back, and if you’d like to have real Mexican taco taste... you should give it a try to!
Personal recommendation: eat the tacos on the spot, tacos don’t travel well, and soft tortilla will get soggy. Because these tacos definitely pair with corn...
Read moreI used to love this place when they were at their Savannah location, but since it has moved to the Pooler location it hasn't been the same.
The people who are behind the counter don't listen well when I gave my order or even ask me what I wanted in my omelet. My omelet was cooked too well done. The outside was brown & hard to cut.
Employees were handling food without gloves with no precautions against covid in place. They were also standing around where food was prepped at eating meals.
The mild salsa on the bar was spoiled. It tasted sour. I had visited this place a while back & didn't have a good experience then when it came to communicating to them & them understanding my order. I wanted to give it another try because I really like the omelets, but after this...
