Y'all. If you like sushi, shoot, even if you don't like sushi...you need to go to Sushi Hana. Just the atmosphere of the place is cool enough to be a reason to just hang out there. Me and some buddies went for our first time and had an great experience. Our waiter was patient and helpful in talking us through different items on the menu and even helping a non-sushi eater find something he would end up liking. Out of all the different sushi choices, yaki udon and dumplings that we ordered...I think the crowning jewel of Sushi Hana is the seaweed salad. Don't sleep on the seaweed salad y'all. I had heard about it's greatness from my sister, so naturally I had to order it for us to try. From the first bite, it instantly became hailed as the best choice of the day. (The four of us shared it as an appetizer, but we all regretted not getting our own.)

We sat at a table, but there is a bar that I'm guessing you can sit at (unless Covid rules doesn't allow that).

Price wise, a little expensive, but 100% worth every cent.

I told our waiter and I'll even say it here y'all, based on just the food...Sushi Hana has some of the best I've had.

As you read this, just go ahead and get in your vehicle and start driving to it...you...

This place is not too bad. The service from the wait staff is awesome. Fefe and Katie rock. The Sushi seems fresh but the menu is limited. I have been coming to this place once a month or so for a year while on my business trips through the area. I always sit at the sushi bar and they have the same three sushi chefs. I have been to sushi restaurants all over the country and most Sushi chefs are very friendly and they like to engage with the customer. Not so much here. I still have no clue what the chefs name are. They do not like to talk to the customers. Also, don’t bother ever asking for something not on the menu. I like a Sunomono salad which is a very basic salad with cucumbers, and some sushi pieces with a little soy sauce and rice vinegar. It’s not on the menu but the waitress says they can make it. When I ask the chefs about it they act like they have never heard of it and their English becomes very broken. Very poor customer service. Also while Uni or sea urchin is on the menu I have never been able to get it. If you looking for a very American Sushi menu with few options you may like this place but for the hard core sushi eater you will find this place falls short of...

We got there and got seated immediately. It took a server quite a bit to get to us, but no biggie it was lunch hour. We only got checked on one time and we were there for about an hour. Neither of is got a refill on our drinks, nor were we asked if we would like one. My friend paid the tab and left a tip that she thought was right enough for the service that was provided for us. Well, because she only left a $3 tip the server proceeded to get my friends name off of the receipt, looked her up on Facebook, and decided to send a message on how she felt about the tip. I called the restaurant back and asked for the owner Eric, but a lady named Fifi answered the phone and refused to give the phone to him. So we told her about the situation and all she did was laugh at us and stated "I don't want to get in the middle of the drama". Very very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional people work at this place. If you still choose to go to this restaurant, I don't suggest having Katie as...

I managed to spot this place among the myriad of chain restaurants surrounding it and I'm so glad I did. The interior is large enough to feel welcoming without feeling cramped, but small enough to feel cozy without feeling...well, "cozy." I had two rolls: the top one is the black angel roll, and the bottom one is the Hana house roll. The rolls are slightly smaller than average, but the flavors were memorable, especially in the house roll. The meats are delicious and the sauces complement instead of dominate, making each piece a really enjoyable eating experience. The prices are on par with other restaurants of this style, and the food stands at the top. Check it out the next time you're looking for sushi in the area--it's even worth driving out of Savannah or even Bluffton for.

Sushi is one of our fav foods to always order and we keep on trying to try from different places, once such place was sushi hana for the weekend, we ordered the vegetable roll, chicken tempura roll, angry dragon roll, and deep fried rolls with crabmeat and stir fry udon noodles and miso soup, of which the chicken tempura roll was the best and the other ones were OK! The miso soup and the udon noodles were very good and my son enjoyed it very much highly recommend for toddlers if looking for anything other fried rice. We would definitely try other types of sushi in the future highly recommended for having decent sushi in pooler. Although they should improve on the serving staff, the waitresses are very unfriendly and rude. All In all good for a sushi takeout

We went to this place we love so much since their food is one of the best Japanese options in the area. You have to try the mushroom soup and the salad with the ginger dressing if you haven’t yet. We ordered the chicken teriyaki and the beef teriyaki lunchboxes and those were phenomenal and the different textures you find in this plate make the experience fun and interesting. The reason I’m giving 3 starts is because even though the food was awesome, the service was awful. The server Fifi was rude and always rushing us to place our order. We didn’t even finish our food when she has already brought the check to the table without even asking how the food was. If you want a better experience, avoid sitting on the middle section where she typically serves!
