Y'all. If you like sushi, shoot, even if you don't like sushi...you need to go to Sushi Hana. Just the atmosphere of the place is cool enough to be a reason to just hang out there. Me and some buddies went for our first time and had an great experience. Our waiter was patient and helpful in talking us through different items on the menu and even helping a non-sushi eater find something he would end up liking. Out of all the different sushi choices, yaki udon and dumplings that we ordered...I think the crowning jewel of Sushi Hana is the seaweed salad. Don't sleep on the seaweed salad y'all. I had heard about it's greatness from my sister, so naturally I had to order it for us to try. From the first bite, it instantly became hailed as the best choice of the day. (The four of us shared it as an appetizer, but we all regretted not getting our own.)
We sat at a table, but there is a bar that I'm guessing you can sit at (unless Covid rules doesn't allow that).
Price wise, a little expensive, but 100% worth every cent.
I told our waiter and I'll even say it here y'all, based on just the food...Sushi Hana has some of the best I've had.
As you read this, just go ahead and get in your vehicle and start driving to it...you...
Read moreThis place is not too bad. The service from the wait staff is awesome. Fefe and Katie rock. The Sushi seems fresh but the menu is limited. I have been coming to this place once a month or so for a year while on my business trips through the area. I always sit at the sushi bar and they have the same three sushi chefs. I have been to sushi restaurants all over the country and most Sushi chefs are very friendly and they like to engage with the customer. Not so much here. I still have no clue what the chefs name are. They do not like to talk to the customers. Also, don’t bother ever asking for something not on the menu. I like a Sunomono salad which is a very basic salad with cucumbers, and some sushi pieces with a little soy sauce and rice vinegar. It’s not on the menu but the waitress says they can make it. When I ask the chefs about it they act like they have never heard of it and their English becomes very broken. Very poor customer service. Also while Uni or sea urchin is on the menu I have never been able to get it. If you looking for a very American Sushi menu with few options you may like this place but for the hard core sushi eater you will find this place falls short of...
Read moreWe got there and got seated immediately. It took a server quite a bit to get to us, but no biggie it was lunch hour. We only got checked on one time and we were there for about an hour. Neither of is got a refill on our drinks, nor were we asked if we would like one. My friend paid the tab and left a tip that she thought was right enough for the service that was provided for us. Well, because she only left a $3 tip the server proceeded to get my friends name off of the receipt, looked her up on Facebook, and decided to send a message on how she felt about the tip. I called the restaurant back and asked for the owner Eric, but a lady named Fifi answered the phone and refused to give the phone to him. So we told her about the situation and all she did was laugh at us and stated "I don't want to get in the middle of the drama". Very very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional people work at this place. If you still choose to go to this restaurant, I don't suggest having Katie as...
