Buffalo Wild Wings Review
The link to provide feedback disappeared before we got home so I’ll just have to post this publicly instead.
Me, my wife, and our 1yo son went to Buffalo Wild Wings’ Pooler Ga. location tonight. We were sat promptly and the server came soon after to take our drink orders. I mentioned ordering an appetizer but the server didn’t wait and went ahead to get our drinks.
After a couple of minutes she came back to ask if we wanted to order an appetizer and then took our entree order. She returned momentarily with our appetizer, but left before we had a chance to ask for utensils to cut the food for our son. We flagged her down and requested utensils and a plate, she promptly returned with 3 packs of to-go plastic cutlery and to-go boxes.
Moments later, the burger and the kids chicken tenders were delivered but it took a few more minutes before the chicken sandwich was delivered. I attempted to cut the tenders for our son but it was quite difficult with the plastic knife so when she came back by I requested a real knife to cut the food with. She promptly returned, sat the knife down right in front of our 1yo, and left just as quickly without saying a word. Good thing it was just a butter knife, though it wasn’t much easier to cut with.
About half way through our meal, we had finished our drinks and were waiting for her to come back to request a refill. She came to check the table next to us but turned to leave without checking on us. We flagged her down and asked for refills. She promptly returns but once again sat the full drink glass right in front of our 1yo.
Once we were finished, she came back to ask how everything was and I let her know that I’d like to order dessert. I ordered the chocolate fudge cake and showed it to her on the menu. She promptly returned with a slice of cake and a side cup of caramel sauce, but it was missing the vanilla ice cream that was included in the menu’s description and image. But once again, she walked away before I could say anything to her.
As I waited for her to return, I tried the cake and found it ice cold and dried out. We once again had to flag her down after she checked on the table next to us. We asked about the ice cream and she said she didn’t think that came with ice cream. I pulled the menu back up to show her the exact listing and she said “I’ll go ask about it.” She quickly returned with a cup of ice cream that was frozen solid, straight out of the freezer. Of course my plastic fork was useless on it so when she came back with the bill, I requested a real spoon to eat it with. Again she came back, sat it down and left immediately. After trying a couple more bites of the dried out cake with frozen solid ice cream, I decided to leave it.
I thought about asking her to take cake off but figured it wasn’t worth the trouble for $5 back. Finally, we paid our bill through the app and left to get dessert at the ice cream place next door. I figured I’d use the website to leave feedback but by the time I got home, the link to do so had...
Read moreLast night a co-worker and I went to BWW about 11:45pm to get drinks and appetizers after a long day of flying (work). With it being the only place still open we thought it was a good choice. As we walked in we noticed people still at the bar and at a few tables in the Restaurant. As we waited no one came to seat us even though employees saw us waiting. After about 10 or so minutes we sat ourselves at a high top table by the bar since the bar seemed to be at full capacity. We looked at the menu and guessed that no one was going to serve us so we used the QR code on the table to order. We put our order in for drinks and apps between 12-12:05am. Finally a bartender came to our table at 12:06am and was like y'all ordered blank? Last call was at 12:05am. Let me go have the managers take the alcohol drinks off for you. We were a little stunned by the encounter but said okay. A few moments later a guy comes to our table to whom we assumed was the manager by the way he spoke, saying things like how he didn't have any waiters to wait on us as they ever cleaning getting ready to close the restaurant for the night. We looked around and was like okay? He then proceeded to tell us we could order at the bar and that's when my co-worker informed him we order through the app. The guy was like oh okay. Finally our apps came out along side the sodas we ordered since we were denied service. However the waiter who ended up getting assigned to us seemed very perturbed she had to serve us. I sensed attitude from her, the "manager" and even the bartender. The waitress came to out table once we got the items we ordered to confirm we weren't going to order anything else as the kitchen was wanting to close up. We stated no. She looked relieved then walked away after stating something. (I don't remember what) We finished out apps and sodas then saw it was 4 minutes till closing that's when my co-worker said let's go before we get kicked out, so we left. The restaurant didn't close until 1am and we had a very long day just wanted to relax a moment. We did not think our business coming in approximately 1hr and 15 mins before closing would have been so unwelcome and such an inconvenience to the restaurant employees. Last night was my 3rd time ever going into a BWW but I think it's safe to say I will never go to this location again. I understand they probably had a long day but that does not give you a right to treat customers like they're an inconvenience to you. As being in the industry of safety and hostility myself being a flight attendant I am well aware how serving people can be hard. I did not appreciate the attitude we received from all the employees. A smile, kind words and happy tone of voice can go a...
Read moreLast Friday we ordered delivery. I received a text saying the driver was on his way. About 15 minutes later I get a text in Spanish. Needless to say I don’t speak Spanish. I used the translate button on my iPhone and came to the conclusion it was the delivery driver. He didn’t know where my house was. I did everything I could to help him find my house. And it’s not a hard house to find. It’s in a well known neighborhood. For over 45 minutes we texted back and forth in Spanish. I even sent him my location so all he had to do was click it and it would give him directions directly here. They did no good. So I finally said tell me where you are and I’ll come get my food. Then I said ok just take the food back to store. He wouldn’t do that. Fast forward 1 hour and 10 minutes later he finally arrived with our food. Well of course it was ice cold. Not only cold but we were missing 35 wings! I wasn’t even going to call about the delivery. The guy was super nice and felt terrible. But when I was missing 36 wings too, I lost it! So I called and they gave me to a manager and I shared everything. She tells me she can refund me for the 36 wings. Which btw I was never given a refund for to this day. I said ok what about all the food being cold? She said that is DoorDash problem. I said I didn’t order through DoorDash, I ordered on your website. She said it doesn’t matter. My thought was as a customer and all I had been through to this point, making me call yet another place was bs! So I then call DoorDash and you guessed it. It’s not their responsibility, it’s the restaurant’s responsibility. I wasn’t about to call the restaurant back. So I emailed corporate at support@buffalowildwings.com and explained everything. It’s been 1 week and I haven’t heard a word!!! I’m honestly shocked. I wouldn’t have ever thought that BWW operated like this. I guess I was wrong. We faithfully ate there once a week and I always looked forward to it because it was the one night I didn’t have to cook. I can say we will not ever be eating there again. I feel like this day in age customer service is out the window. And I’m sorry, I’ve got plenty of places I can spend my hard earned money. And I’ll be damned if it will be somewhere that doesn’t have the common decency to respond to...
