McDonald's — Restaurant in Pooler

Decided to stop and treat the kids to some Mickey Ds on our road trip through Georgia. There were 5 younger girls working the counters and drive thru and 1 manager clearly knowing what she was doing and absolutely overworked. She bounced from orders to window to register and service. She made up for the absolutely appalling lack of work ethic in of the 5 girls. They were bickering back and forth, avoiding work, yelling to each other about the customers at the window (like the customers inside couldn’t hear them). They must of taken a break bc while we ate the girls all stood around the table complaining about the manager, the McDonalds company, the pay, the food (as I took another bite out of my burger), the amount of work they were forced to do- and were clearly not doing, and mocked customers who came to the door that they had locked bc they closed the inside (probably while they took their breaks and left the restaurant short staffed). Laughing at the older man trying to get inside calling him “stupid” was not my idea of lunch entertainment. I will say though kudos to Lorraine, the lead who was clearly dealing with a handful, over worked and probably underpaid. I heard one of the girls mention that she had written them all up the week before for some bathroom situation. Many customers were also complimenting her on her multitasking ability. Glad I won’t be in the area again bc this is the worst experience especially with my kids- good teaching moment though....

9 Oct ‘25 5:53 pm. Mobile order. Pull up to speaker and sit there at least 5 minutes. Pull around to first window and no one’s there. Pull up to next window and no one’s there so I sit a long few minutes. By then there’s cars in line around the building. Finally girl comes to window and tells me to pull up and said she’d bring my order out. After about 5 cars behind me all pay and get there orders and pull around me I decide to go inside. There was no one at the counter so I look around the corner and see window girl. I told her I’ve been waiting outside over 20 minutes while 5 cars who were all behind me were served. She told me it’s because I didn’t order at the window. Well guess what? My bag was sitting there, she just didn’t bring it to me. Finally after 35 minutes I get my food and leave. Dry, overcooked and cold. Shame on you!

3 Nov ‘24 1:15 pm. First time at McDonald’s in probably 10 years and it sucked. Big Mac - bread was not fresh, especially the middle piece. The meat? had a grainy texture and was so flippin overcooked. The whole thing was so dry and gross. Fries - no salt and they were cold. Diet Coke was not Diet Coke and when handed to me at window the cup was so wet it was dripping. Had to ask for napkins before I put it in my car. All garbage. Probably won’t go to McDonald’s again for the rest of my life. Just...

Businesses are made designed to make money! How in the world does anybody make money when at 6:21am in the morning your BUSY BUSY MCDONALDS is closed for the dining room!!!! If this was my McDonald's( which it is not) there had better have been a very decent explanation as to why my dining room was not open to the public, people count on it everyday, what about people who are visiting from out of town who are within walking distance and get all excited to go to their favorite restaurant in the morning and can not because employees are to lazy to want to deal with the public. ( Too damn bad, if you don't like IT PLEASE, I BEG YOU!get another job please!!! We want people who are excited to serve the public each day! Ever since COVID these businesses are so lazy it's ridiculous!!! You have a family of 5 eating outside while it's still early and dark,and you see a employee opening the door to inform us there closed for dining room. I've said enough.
