Came with a group of 8 people to have drinks, eat and bowl. It was a Sunday and not very busy. Started a tab to order food with a bartender that was about to leave, but said she would transfer my tab to the new bartender. Went back to the bar to order drinks and after waiting for 15 minutes, was finally asked what I would like. I told her and gave her my lane number. She told me I would have to order from the other girl because she had my tab. I explained to her that I was told my tab would be transferred and she replied with, "She can't do that." and walked away from me. So, I go to place my order with the other girl and said to her that I was sorry and I knew she was about to leave. She replied, "They told me I can't leave because she can't bartend." I get my drinks and go back to bowling. Our food comes out and my order is COMPLETELY wrong. I ordered a Philly Wrap with no peppers and a side of tzatziki sauce. They brought me steak tacos. I go to the bar, tell them that my order was wrong and repeat again what I would like, a Philly Wrap with no peppers and a side of tzatziki sauce. About 5 minutes later, a manager comes to our lane and asked me if I wanted peppers and onions. I repeated AGAIN, Philly Wrap with no peppers and a side of tzatziki sauce. He said "Ok." and walked off. I finally receive my food after 20 minutes and the side of tzatziki sauce that I have already asked for THREE times is not there. The lady who can't bartend was delivering orders and my friend asked her to please bring my sauce that I asked for. She told her I would have to go to the bar, because there was a charge for that. SO, I go BACK to the bar, tell the other girl what was said to us and she apologized. Also told me that it was a $0.54 charge. I'm thinking, don't care, I expect that, but I also expect to get what I asked for in the first place. She tells me that it will be right out. I go back to my game and after waiting for 15 minutes, still no sauce. I take my food to the bar, where the manager and bartender are talking, place my food on the counter and tell them I don't want it anymore. We finish bowling and go to close out. The bartender made sure the food was not on my ticket and apologized again. Meanwhile, the lady who cant bartend, is sitting at the end of the bar, eating a meal AND on a personal phone call. So, she made sure she had time to stuff her face and chat it up with her bestie, but she couldn't get my order right.
The staff really needs to be trained on customer service and how to read or they need to be shown the door. The management needs to quit rewarding bad behavior. You advertise "Bistro and Bowl", but the only thing good about your establishment is the bowling. A bistro it is not. Get rid of your deadweight staff and find people who actually want and know...
Read moreTHIS WAS THE WORST SERVICE! It is ridiculous having sat down for an extended amount of time, and not until we got up and went to the bar and flagged down a server were we given menus. We had to basically flag them down for everything. They took forever to even come get our orders. They pizza was very greasy. Then when they brought us a box to put our leftover pizza there was a dead bug! So at this point I’m just ready to go. We wait another 10 minutes and then just get up and I ask can I pay. I ask if I’m going to get a discount of some sort because I was served something with a bug in it. James just takes the card and receipt without saying anything. When I get my card and receipt back there was nothing so I say something again. He says “well it wasn’t in your food was it ?” Being smart. I then go on to let him know they need better service and he just looks off and nods me off and looks as if he didn’t care about what I was saying! My boyfriend says “he doesn’t care” I said yeah I see that. He still says nothing. So I then go to ask the girl at the bowling part if there is some number I can call or someone I can speak with. She tells me the owner is not there at that time but she could get me a card with the number. She goes and gets the same guy, James. He tells me that he is the manager and that there is no one else I can speak with. He tells me that they can’t give the owners number out so I said ok when will he be in. He says “he doesn’t ever come in”.... that has to be a lie. I say okay so who’s over you? He says no one. I said “Well that’s definitely a lie cause it’s not just the owner then you.” Then it changes to “well yeah there’s someone over me but I can’t give out their number either.” Convenient no? So at this point I just leave. I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK HERE AND I WOULD NOT...
Read moreThe place is decently nice, with not many lanes. I did not try any of the food, so no opinion there. The lanes are excessively oily, coating the balls ( I own my own ball, and my towel was black after two games). Not a huge deal if you’re only rolling for fun, but the ball “slides” more than rolls due to the oil, so hooking the ball is difficult. Bowling lanes require oiling for proper care, but this was excessive. The first lane we were assigned was not working and the attendant had to go in the back to activate it. After one game my son asked me to activate the rails for his turns, they would not work so I called for service again. They determined that they were working on that lane and moved us to another lane. The second lane did not return the balls consistently. Once again, I have my own ball, and was frustrated that I could not use it every time due to it not returning. Eventually, it stopped returning balls completely, requiring me to call for service a third time. We lost almost half of the hour we paid for in service calls. The bowling experience was not great due to the dripping oil, so I was content to just move on and not demand extra time. I will likely stay with Frames and Games. Item of note: the attendant was friendly and the issues experienced were not his fault. The owner/ management obviously short-cuts the...
