We made a mobile order 30 minutes before closing, went to pick it up and sat at the speaker for about 5 minutes with no acknowledgement of us being there before pulling up to the 1st window and when there was no one there we pulled forward to the pick up.window where we sat for another 15 minutes AT LEAST trying to get their attention. We honked and knocked and yelled but all we heard was music cranked up high. We didn't get acknowledged until 11:04pm and all the employee did was make a cut off motion across her neck and walked up and locked the window on us. I was trying to tell her we had made a mobile order which was already paid for and she just continued to rudely make the cut off motion while shaking her head with the rudest look on her face. She didn't even say a word to us or try to listen to what I was trying to say. she just walked away. Believe me, she's not going to be happy tomorrow. By the time im done talking to her manager and probably corporate; she's going to regret treating us like we don't matter. I seriously felt like she was looking down her nose at us. Like shes better than us. If shed been doing her job and answered the beep at the speaker or the honks and knocks at the window, and helped us with our order, we wouldve been out of there no later than 10 min before closing. Im Not upset that we didnt recieve our food; im pissed because of the way she handled the situation, and how she hid in the back until she could lock the window and fairly tell ppl they were closed and she...
Read moreOver the years McDonald's has been a place I'd love to go. As a kid we would ride our bikes there and we would get yummy food we could afford.
As of the last couple years the cost has gone absolutely insane for the quality of food. Yes I understand this is my opinion but I cannot believe how expensive it is gotten. I hate writing a review when I am upset at an establishment but here it is. The food cost more than it ever has and the quality of the food is plummeting. They don't even take the time to spread sauces remotely evenly, just a big thick blob in the center with all of the pickles and other vegetables dead center.
The final straw for me and why I am not going back until something changes was that today my fries were absolutely garbage. The fries has been a staple for McDonald's for years... I can't believe how rubbery the fries were... They were not fresh in any way. It's disappointing because I had to wait quite a while to even get my order. I really thought I was going to get fresh fries 😆
Another thing that happened just tonight was my kids said the chicken nuggets were awful, this is highly unusual. Usually they always love the chicken nuggets even if the food is just so so that particular day.
It is a sad day and I hope to change this...
Read moreAwesome staff. Crappy customers.
Skip going inside unless barefooted children running around in an eating establishment gets your appetite going.
And look out for panhandlers who tag-team the parking lot perimeter.
The staff can only do so much and they do an excellent job for all they have to put up with outside of making and serving food, but it's the questionable customers who keep me from going inside now.
Napkins can't even be left out any more. Is that normal at every McDonald's, or just in Port Angeles?
It takes away from the dining experience to have to walk up like a child to the front counter and ask for napkins because questionable customers have abused McDonald's generosity so much that now the paying customers have a devalued experience when dining inside. It is not a good sign that this is what McDonald's has to do all because of the people they allow in the doors who are ruining it.
Just go through the drive-through. The inside is nice, but it will probably be ruined soon by the questionable customers who have no regard for other...
