Drifters Deli — Restaurant in Port Aransas

Made it over to Drifters Deli today with my mom. Cool little take away deli. They do have indoor seating but it is very limited. We ate outdoor, also limited seating. There was a great breeze so the Tx. heat was doable, otherwise we would have taken it to go. Both spaces were very clean. Staff is very personable, helpful and genuinely cared that you were enjoying not only the food but being there. HI Robert!! The food? All I can say is I have been looking for this place and that the island desperately needed a place like this. The food delish and super fresh. I got a salad and my mom got a sandwich. From the plump juicy blueberries ,strawberries and fresh spinach on the sald, to the home-made bread and generous amount meat on the sandwich, this place hands down delivers fresh quality food for my hard earned dollar.
