Wolfie's Bierhaus — Restaurant in Port Clinton

Server was nice and efficient and the tables appeared clean. Music was pretty loud for the type of restaurant, had to shout if you wanted to hold a conversation. Food, not great. Fries and soup came out luke warm. Ordered the perch sandwich and received cod. Didn't say anything because I felt bad for the server after we already sent the cold soup back and asked for hot fries. If you're around the lake at all you know the difference between cod and perch. Not sure if the chef didn't know the difference or if they serve cod on purpose to save a buck. Either way, won't be back. Plenty of other places to choose from with much better food for the same price point.

Food was so good we forgot to take photos before we ate.

I ordered the "Pierogi Burger" which had fried pierogis, onions, cheddar, sour cream, and chive sauce. It comes with mushrooms, but I substituted it for lettuce.

My husband ordered the "Blitzkrieg" which was 2 sausages of his choice (bratwurst and hot mama), pierogis, potato salad, cole slaw, and spaetzel. The spaetzel came with Hunter's gravy which we weren't a fan of.

Will definitely be back as it looks like they have different specials...

Great new place, kudos to the owners for taking the existing space and taking a risk on something new. Excellent German bier selection, and Devin even asked me if I wanted it chilled -I did not and never get that option! Had the potato pancakes, jalapeño bahama mama, and the red pepper Gouda soup, today, all served promptly and fresh.
