Nicky D's Burgerz — Restaurant in Port Huron

I went there a few weeks ago the staff was super friendly unfortunately the communication between the girls taking the orders and the cooks get lost normally I would put it off to the order being taken wrong but you can clearly hear the cook being told how to make the sliders and they choose to just make them how they want.and when you go there and spend almost 50 dollars in food you should get what you order.But figured what the heck I'll try one more more time maybe they were having a bad day I know how it gets and the rushes can be crazy so we went there today . Again to my disappointment the same thing happened my wife figured she'd try the onion rings she figured you'd couldn't go wrong seeing as everytime we ordered plan sliders only ketchup or mustard for the kids they always came with everything on them. So onion rings would be an easy win nope she got them paid 4 dollars for 4 onion rings hopefully they these issues get fixed because for the amount of food you get there at the the price made the way you order is definitely important considering you get more for your buck at...

First time here since the reopening, at first glance, i thought the menu was kinda small, but the food on the menu fits perfectly with a small town burger diner, I ended up spending more then I planned but it was because we each wanted a lot of extras. What I wish i knew was the proportion sizes, if I knew how much food you got, we could have easily ordered much less and shared. We each ordered a small fry, (a few chilli cheese and one only cheese) and when they came out the portion was huge, we probably could have ordered a large and shared between 2 adults and 2 kids.everyone thought the food was great, and as an added bonus, our youngest kid is super picky and wanted Mac and cheese, which they don't offer, but the waitress told him she could have them make some plain pasta and add some cheese sauce, he then decided he just wanted the plain noodles (bowtie pasta) and a side of cheese which they happily accommodated. Wasn’t very welcoming, stood patiently for about 5mins for acknowledgement. Food order was quick which was good after not being acknowledged when walking in, but witnessed quick acknowledgment when certain customers walked in waitress I thought was rude/ sarcastic when I ask for some extra ketchup packets and loudly stated in front of other customers that she placed 5 packs of ketchup n salt n pepper packets in the bag, instead of just simply saying sure can or extra packets comes with extra cost, and come to think I gave tip as well on a carry out order to go.
