McDonald's — Restaurant in Port Orange

I was in burger mode. I ended up going to McDonald’s @ 3816 south nova rd. I ordered the double quarter pounder with cheese and had lettuce tomato and Mayo added. I also requested that the sandwich be HOT. They sent me to another drive up window for special orders. I live literally 7 minutes from this restaurant. The order was handed to me by an employee and I made my way home. As I sat and began to open my order, I was immediately impressed with how neatly everything was packed. I also ordered fries and a fish sandwich. As I opened the box to my burger I noticed how carefully the sandwich was placed on the box. And after removing the top bun I was again impressed with how neatly and orderly the topping were placed on my sandwich. It was impeccable. As I started to eat my burger, the flavor combination and.the temp of the sandwich was really outstanding., the sandwich from first bite to last was NOT disappointing at all . The expert service combined with the artistic way it was engineered was faultless. From Beginning to end this transaction along with the enjoyment of the food is a definite 10. Went through the drive thru and once we got home had realized that we had an order messed up, which we usually check at the window, but due to the long line we didn’t want to be “those people”. So we tried calling for about ten minutes until someone finally answered, which was Brendan/Brandon the manager. He was incredibly polite and had given us the option of coming back another time, but we decided to just come back tonight. When we got here he was diligent in making sure everything was correct and efficient in resolving the situation. Very polite manager. The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because when we initially came through the drive thru the employee was incredibly rude with how she spoke to us along with being very curt and short, ripping/grabbing the money out of my hand and shoving the food into the car rather forcefully. If I reviewing for just my experience with her it would be 1 star, but the manager was so damn kind it was unreal. I live close by and this will be the only McDonalds I go to now, only because of...

We had such a terrible experience! I checked my burger when it was handed to me and I found a piece of tape and paper between the patties. I alerted the manager who proceeded to take it to where she thought it would be out of my view. She picked my burger apart with her ungloved hands (which she has just used to fix the ice cream machine and didn't wash) and paused to make it seem like she was getting a different burger. She then tried to come back and hand it to me. I told her I saw what she did and wanted a new burger. "You do?" was her response before taking the burger back to the same spot and handing it across the line to the sandwich makers. It then took over 5 minutes for my burger to be "remade". I watched the process and it appears as though they microwaved the original burger and tried to pass it on to me again.
