We normally love Ale House and I get that this location just opened BUT you bring in trainers from other stores to make sure a new location is ready and your kitchen isn't, in fact, ready. We waited to try this spot out bc we figured it would be rough but not this long into opening. We always sit at the bar. Walked up to sit and had to choose 2 seats that didn't have full dirty dishes in front it. Easily 15 seats had this. Not only that but the end of the bar was COVERED in dirty glasses as the bartender had no help to get these done. We watched server after server drop more glasses into this pile instead of helping. Eventually 1 girl did come help. Bartender took a while to get to us with 7 guests seated but she's nice. Main complaint is the food. We couldn't even comment about it to anyone bc they keep walking by, so by the time you get 85% of the way through when starving, it's too late. Ordered a med rare burger with a runny egg, lettuce, tomato, cheese and candied bacon. Received a well done burger with regular bacon, hard egg and brown lettuce. Ordered zingers and fries too. Received 5 zingers and 1 unknown fried item with fries. We also watched the kitchen staff eating in the window in plain sight. There's no teamwork here or accountability. No one checks back & mgmt is invisible. We're going to give it another couple of months before returning and hope that this is seriously figured out.

My husband and I live really close to our Port Orange Miller's ale House. We are there quite often and my go-to has always been the Masala veggie burger. House made veggie patty, and it was the best vegetarian Burger that I've ever had. I've consistently gotten it since the Port Orange location opened (because that's when I saw it on the menu), And now, as of last night's visit, it's been ruined. Now, the recipe has changed and it's loaded with all of these sauteed vegetables and the Patty itself seems to be breaded and fried which it never was before. The calories have gone up quadruple from what they used to be, and it is no longer going to be my go-to meal. Meal. Honestly, I don't even know if I'll be going anymore because I have no idea what I'll even get anymore because that was literally my favorite thing. As you can see in the pictures, you will see the original pictured and it's nutritional facts. Cannot even find nutritional facts online for the new version yet, but The calories are definitely higher than even the big red sandwich. This is ridiculous. Why can't I just have a healthy option on a menu without someone trying to make it a bunch of crap!?

Sunday AM. We arrived at 11:10. They open at 11. No one else was in the restaurant and we were seated on the heated patio by the restrooms. As it got busier I had a full view of the men's room every time the door was open. Gross The waitress, Janea, was very inviting and offered to help us with any questions as this was our first visit. The waters arrived quickly and the order was taken timely. Then we wait....and wait....and wait....the food arrived about 11:45. It was awful. Not one of us enjoyed our food. The Salmon was overcooked as was the medium rare steak, it was well done. The ribs were cold and chewy. The potatoes were a strange brownish color. They were so cold the butter wouldn't melt. The mixed veggies were very heavy on the onions and cold. We were so disappointed as we enjoy dining out and was glad to have a new place near home. But we will not be back. Janea said she would tell the GM but no one ever came by to see how we were. We were not looking for anything free. But thought the GM would want to know what the chef is putting out today. Oh well .. whatever.

We came here Saturday 04/06/2024, after a beach day, wait time was great, our server Tommy started off strong, after we got served our appetizers, he was literally never to be seen again. My husband had ordered a medium steak which he received WAY over cooked, I ordered 12 wings which were WAY under cooked, we didn’t complain or make a fuss mistakes happen in the kitchen, not the waiters fault & we totally get that, we weren’t rude, didn’t even ask for a discount, a manager did stop by at the table and apologized. While, we were waiting and Tommy was no where to be seen or found, Samantha “Sam the great” was absolutely phenomenal, she is the very meaning of excellent care + customer service + for the people, Millers should be proud to have an employee that exceeds expectations, she noticed we hadn’t gotten any refills in a while & quickly came up to us to apologize and make sure we were taken care of, from the moment we got the food corrected, made sure everything was to the T. Meanwhile, the only time we saw Tommy again was to give us our bill, respectfully he was not tipped because he did not attend us, we left our money with Sam the great, who took a table that wasn’t her responsibility to make sure we were satisfied, as someone in the service industry that’s what you do. We paid the bill and never received a receipt for $94.68 that we spent, didn’t think much of it because I got the notification of the transaction on my card & of course this is a business so I’d think it’d be conducted as one, I get a notification the following day 04/07/24 for an extra $10 taken out of my account, Mr. Tommy thought he’d take matters into his own hands and tip himself. Now not only is it illegal to steal money from someone’s account, but unethical. It’s thanks to people like Sam that even though dealing with this unpleasant experience, she...

Tonight my family and I went to eat here. After we sat, a man stumbled in knocking into our chair then sat at the bar. He was then served a beer obviously already intoxicated to the point he passed out at the bar twice. Then manager Vincent's response to the situation was poor. His solution was to advise the man if he feel asleep again he has to leave. The man stumbled out of the restaurant sideways almost knocking into another table with kids. I walked up to the manager and bartender and asked how could they allow this man to walk out that way the bartenders response was that he was high not drunk and that was his only answer. I walked outside to see if I could locate the man, I didn't. We got out food ate and exited with 4 adults and 4 children and saw the man was passed out in his car behind the wheel while it was running. We contacted law enforcement, and while on the phone with dispatch the manager Vincent then decided to call in. I spoke with the manager again whom felt the need to spell his last name and saw no wrong in allowing this man to walk out the way he did, with complete disregard for public safety and the safety of that man. He stated he followed protocol because the guy ate jalapeños and talked fine that he was ok. I will never in my life fund such a place that allows a manager to make poor calls that way. The situation could have been much worse! That man was in no position to walk much less drive. It also could have been prevented with better judgement by the bartender and management. I will contact the general Manager as well and update with what the...

Went to dinner with the family. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana fettuccine. Apparently, they burned it twice in the kitchen. It never made it to the table until we were ready to leave. They did place it in a to go box at our request and refunded it off our bill. However, the wife didn’t get dinner until we got home. I ordered the queso smash burger. The burger was not smashed and was incredibly under cooked. Additionally, the top bun was hard as a rock and the bottom bun was so soggy that it was almost non-existent. They did take this meal off our bill because I couldn’t eat it. So now neither I or my wife had dinner. My daughter ordered the kids zinger meal with fries. They brought a regular zinger order with no fries. Also charged us for that regular zinger order. My son’s kids zinger meal was correct and appeared to be fine. We also ordered a half-pound crab legs (add-on) which were skimpy at best and not great. But at least I got to eat some of that since I could not eat my basically raw burger. Server seemed nice. But after bringing refills once, she disappeared. Granted, they were busy and I am sure she knew our meal was a disaster, not wanting to come to our table. I don’t blame her. There were some other service issues with seating, but this review is long enough. Overall a terrible experience and we will not be returning. Which sucks, because I was really looking for an alternative to houlighans....
