I gave my first review of this place about 8 months ago. We had a fairly good experience overall so we decided to come back on Thursday evening. I waited a few days to give this review because I wanted to make sure I didn’t write out of disgust.
I will start by saying my family will never return to Krazyfish Grille. The decor and the building itself has a lot of potential. Our waiter was nice and fairly attentive but seemed stretched thin because it seemed like there was only maybe two waiters working (maybe 3) .. we, personally, only saw two different ones.
Now for the food…. We were so disgusted that we had to laugh about it. To start, we wanted two things that were clearly on the menu only to be told they no longer have those items (one of the salads and then the peel and eat shrimp).. I was surprised about the shrimp.. between us we had: 3 build your own burgers, smash the hell out of it burger, fried shrimp platter with fries and Caesar salad, onion rings, fish tacos, coleslaw… so many things went wrong that there was no point to mention most of it at that point. My son’s burger came out and it was totally wrong so they did make a new one.. The bottom bun on my moms burger was like a hockey puck so they brought her a new bun, her burger was undercooked but by that point she didn’t want to send it back, the shrimp platter came out and my mom and I looked at each other like what in the world is that? There were barely any shrimp, handful of fries, and then the salad. The shrimp tasted of no real flavor and like old oil. All of the fried stuff just tasted like either old oil or nothing… the burgers had no seasoning, I ended up taking the patty off of the burger to eat by itself bc the burger was not good.. the patty had no flavor and dipping it in ketchup didn’t even help..the coleslaw was awful and had a weird texture.. my uncle said it tasted days old..my daughter got chicken tenders and was barely eating them.. my uncle took a bite and said if it wasn’t for the breading there would be no flavor at all..I was charged the same amount for a kids drink as I was an adult drink.. it was just not a good experience at all. Our table of 6 paid around $300 for our meals and drinks total and our meal was not even worth half of that. Also crazy to say that a party of 5 adults and 1 child is considered a large party so we were already charged a 20% gratuity after the taxable amount.. we typically always tip 20% at least anyway, but being forced to tip that much on a less than stellar experience doesn’t sit well. (We know we are tipping on the service not the food, but the food does matter especially when we had too many issues to even bring up to the waiter)
Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. This experience was the talk of our evening because we were just in shock. The place has a lot of potential and is a great look/building.. I have a 3 for atmosphere because when you have that experience it kind of ruins that as well…but they need to change something in the kitchen or their quality of food supplies or something to make it worth going to.
No pictures this time bc I think I was just in...
Read moreI will never be back in St. Port Joe again if I can help it. There is a reason not many people travel here and now I understand why. Unfortunately because of such a small town, there are not a lot of food options. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 30 mins to an hour to PCB where they have more of an edible food selection. This restaurant was recommended to us by locals, and it's really not their fault because their food palate was ruined by this restaurant. The restaurant name gives it away because this restaurant experience for me really was Krazy. I have never been so shocked by how staff treated us last night for dinner. The food took hours to come out, and the crowd wasn't that bad honestly. The waitress gave us major attitude and slammed our bills down when we asked for our check 2.5 hrs later. The other waitresses were seen gossiping about our table because all we did was simply ask for drink refills and our checks which I believe is the bare minimum. My friends order was completely wrong, and the waitress sat there and argued with us saying "oh well that's too bad I'll see what the manager can do". She came back and said the manager could possibly take a few dollars off. After we personally walked up to the manager she was apparently told a completely false narrative of the situation. Luckily the manager could see our frustration and took off the meal after hounding and pleading and was probably still hoping for a good review, but nonetheless I am here to tell you that this restaurant needs a serious attitude adjustment. After hours of waiting for the food every single person in my 11 party group had either cold, dry, or wrong orders. The only positive thing about this experience were the fans outside. We will be driving to PCB for dinner today. I am extremely disappointed I paid $45 for a terrible experience. I want to kick myself because I did not read the reviews but now seeing them many other people agree with me and have had the same horrific experience. I hope this restaurant really can change around because it could have so much potential to travelers. I know all I will be seeing below is "I'm sorry for the experience, and we will try to do better". Clearly y'all do not care about your reputation, and you have proven yourself correct again by all these other reviews and make no changes. I normally do not feel this strongly to write Google reviews but felt very compelled to do so in order to potentially save someone from their misery and their wallet. I hope you can take this constructive feedback and see that change needs to be implemented...

On August 5, 2025, our group of 10, including a newborn and an 18-month-old, arrived at Krazyfish Grille around 6:15 PM. We were informed by the hostess that the wait would be approximately 45 minutes. While waiting, we decided to order drinks at the bar. The bartender was working diligently, managing both bar and restaurant orders alone.
We were seated at 7:00 PM. After approximately 30 minutes without any service, we were approached by our waitress, Randi C., to take our drink orders. Before our waitress arrived. We requested that a fan be turned on due to the heat; hostess Areana promptly addressed this by activating the ceiling fan and bringing an additional fan over. Her responsiveness and professionalism is greatly appreciated.
When our drinks arrived, there were several issues:
The sweet tea for our 21-year-old daughter and the mixed juice drink for our 12-year-old daughter were missing.
My water with lemon was served without lemon.
We inquired about these missing items multiple times but did not receive them. Eventually, I prepared the sweet tea myself, and my husband went to the bar to order the mixed juice drink. Despite our requests, the lemons for my water never arrived.
We decided to order our entrees immediately, as it was becoming late. Our appetizers were delayed, arriving at 8:36 PM. Upon serving the entrees, one of our meals was forgotten. Additionally, there was confusion regarding our children's orders:
Our 8- and 12-year-olds received adult-sized burgers, despite ordering from the kids' menu.
When we addressed this with Randi C., she insisted that our children had ordered the adult burgers, contradicting our recollection. We then spoke with the manager, LA, who was professional and understanding. She acknowledged the issues and made efforts to rectify the situation.
While the food quality was excellent, the service was lacking. Randi C.'s attitude and lack of responsiveness were disappointing. However, Areana's proactive assistance, the manager's intervention, the bar tenders positive attitude helped mitigate some of the challenges we faced.
Overall, the positive experience, out ways the negativeexperienc. We hope that the management addresses these concerns to improve future dining...
