Our family decided to come here for some good seafood. To say we were unimpressed was an understatement. With today’s economy and lack luster for wait staff, I try my best to keep an open mind with costs and services times. I will say our waitress was doing a pretty good job for the amount of tables she had. We noticed she kept having to run in and out of the building to service tables on both sides. In that case, we gave her grace. As for food, your fried pickles were amazing. We throughly enjoyed those which gave us hope for the main courses. After receiving them, we were extremely disappointed. The attached picture is of my plate the snapper yaya (fish and grits). I paid $32 for this plate and had taken one bite before taking this picture. This snapper was not even as big as my hand, maybe the size of my palm. You are paying $32 for a bowl of grits with a half piece of snapper. Two members of the party ordered the grouper plates. It was a very small portion size for $32. One piece of grouper which couldn’t have weighed 1lb (I would be shocked if it did). My husband got the gator Poboy. It had absolutely no flavor and tasted like steak bites. My husband called it a tough cube steak. The sandwich came with about 8-10 small “gator bites” for $24. This place is major tourist trap, it’s not worth the money. We could have went to Burger King for half the price and been more satisfied. I also believe this company has a filter on the bad reviews. They were the first ones to show up on my Google search with decent reviews. Their bad reviews are at the very end of the list.

Krazyfish in Port St Joe, Florida is an absolute diamond in the rough find that will leave your taste buds in a state of euphoria. I had the immense pleasure of gorging in the CptN krazy seafood platter, and let me tell you, it was a feast fit for a kraken. The platter was a full symphony of flavors, with each bite more divine than the last. The shrimp, fish, scallops, and grits were cooked to perfection and seasoned to absolute perfection. It was like a flavor explosion my mouth that left me in a mouthgasim. My wife's choice of the krazyfish blackened shrimp tacos was nothing short of a good slap to your moms. The blackened shrimp were succulent and spicy, perfectly complemented by the fresh toppings and warm tortillas. Each bite was a tantalizing dance of flavors that left her in awe of the genius behind this dish. The atmosphere at Krazyfish was equally impressive, with a laid-back beach vibe that made us feel right at home. Rhys was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The live music also elevated the ambiance to next level status. In conclusion, Krazyfish is that spot that deserves all the praise in St Joe. If you find yourself in the Port St Joe area, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a meal at Krazyfish. You won't just be dining out, you'll be embarking on a Captain Sparrow size journey that will leave you craving more. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

A pretty cool little place. We sat outside in the dining area, which was enclosed but had plenty of open windows. The seating was cramped, with several long 'shared' tables and it was kind of hard to even get to a table. I only saw the inside as I was on the way to the ladies room, it seemed laid back and had a friendly feel. Our server was super busy with a birthday party of about 20+ ( mostly kids) who had sat down just before we arrived and we knew it would be a few mins for service. She really surprised us by greeting us and getting the hostess to take our drink order. After about 10-15 mins, our server took our order. I was completely shocked as I watched the party's food come out, 6 or 8 meals at a time. That kitchen was flying ! We got our food in 30-35 mins after we sat down. That's crazy fast ! I had the 1 pound fried fish platter, it was delicious but too much for me to eat. It came with slaw and fries. The (no mayo) slaw was AMAZING! My husband got the fried shrimp, the serving was huge he couldn't eat all his dinner either ! I'm not complaining.. Now, we have lunch ! Our server, I didn't catch her name, was REALLY good !! She never missed a beat and was all smiles, friendly and professional. If we're ever back in this area, we'll definitely eat there again! The pic is of their little stage area.

I gave my first review of this place about 8 months ago. We had a fairly good experience overall so we decided to come back on Thursday evening. I waited a few days to give this review because I wanted to make sure I didn’t write out of disgust.

I will start by saying my family will never return to Krazyfish Grille. The decor and the building itself has a lot of potential. Our waiter was nice and fairly attentive but seemed stretched thin because it seemed like there was only maybe two waiters working (maybe 3) .. we, personally, only saw two different ones.

Now for the food…. We were so disgusted that we had to laugh about it. To start, we wanted two things that were clearly on the menu only to be told they no longer have those items (one of the salads and then the peel and eat shrimp).. I was surprised about the shrimp.. between us we had: 3 build your own burgers, smash the hell out of it burger, fried shrimp platter with fries and Caesar salad, onion rings, fish tacos, coleslaw… so many things went wrong that there was no point to mention most of it at that point. My son’s burger came out and it was totally wrong so they did make a new one.. The bottom bun on my moms burger was like a hockey puck so they brought her a new bun, her burger was undercooked but by that point she didn’t want to send it back, the shrimp platter came out and my mom and I looked at each other like what in the world is that? There were barely any shrimp, handful of fries, and then the salad. The shrimp tasted of no real flavor and like old oil. All of the fried stuff just tasted like either old oil or nothing… the burgers had no seasoning, I ended up taking the patty off of the burger to eat by itself bc the burger was not good.. the patty had no flavor and dipping it in ketchup didn’t even help..the coleslaw was awful and had a weird texture.. my uncle said it tasted days old..my daughter got chicken tenders and was barely eating them.. my uncle took a bite and said if it wasn’t for the breading there would be no flavor at all..I was charged the same amount for a kids drink as I was an adult drink.. it was just not a good experience at all. Our table of 6 paid around $300 for our meals and drinks total and our meal was not even worth half of that. Also crazy to say that a party of 5 adults and 1 child is considered a large party so we were already charged a 20% gratuity after the taxable amount.. we typically always tip 20% at least anyway, but being forced to tip that much on a less than stellar experience doesn’t sit well. (We know we are tipping on the service not the food, but the food does matter especially when we had too many issues to even bring up to the waiter)

Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. This experience was the talk of our evening because we were just in shock. The place has a lot of potential and is a great look/building.. I have a 3 for atmosphere because when you have that experience it kind of ruins that as well…but they need to change something in the kitchen or their quality of food supplies or something to make it worth going to.

No pictures this time bc I think I was just in...

I will never be back in St. Port Joe again if I can help it. There is a reason not many people travel here and now I understand why. Unfortunately because of such a small town, there are not a lot of food options. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 30 mins to an hour to PCB where they have more of an edible food selection. This restaurant was recommended to us by locals, and it's really not their fault because their food palate was ruined by this restaurant. The restaurant name gives it away because this restaurant experience for me really was Krazy. I have never been so shocked by how staff treated us last night for dinner. The food took hours to come out, and the crowd wasn't that bad honestly. The waitress gave us major attitude and slammed our bills down when we asked for our check 2.5 hrs later. The other waitresses were seen gossiping about our table because all we did was simply ask for drink refills and our checks which I believe is the bare minimum. My friends order was completely wrong, and the waitress sat there and argued with us saying "oh well that's too bad I'll see what the manager can do". She came back and said the manager could possibly take a few dollars off. After we personally walked up to the manager she was apparently told a completely false narrative of the situation. Luckily the manager could see our frustration and took off the meal after hounding and pleading and was probably still hoping for a good review, but nonetheless I am here to tell you that this restaurant needs a serious attitude adjustment. After hours of waiting for the food every single person in my 11 party group had either cold, dry, or wrong orders. The only positive thing about this experience were the fans outside. We will be driving to PCB for dinner today. I am extremely disappointed I paid $45 for a terrible experience. I want to kick myself because I did not read the reviews but now seeing them many other people agree with me and have had the same horrific experience. I hope this restaurant really can change around because it could have so much potential to travelers. I know all I will be seeing below is "I'm sorry for the experience, and we will try to do better". Clearly y'all do not care about your reputation, and you have proven yourself correct again by all these other reviews and make no changes. I normally do not feel this strongly to write Google reviews but felt very compelled to do so in order to potentially save someone from their misery and their wallet. I hope you can take this constructive feedback and see that change needs to be implemented...

Disappointing Experience at Krazyfish Grille – Service and Accuracy Issues

On August 5, 2025, our group of 10, including a newborn and an 18-month-old, arrived at Krazyfish Grille around 6:15 PM. We were informed by the hostess that the wait would be approximately 45 minutes. While waiting, we decided to order drinks at the bar. The bartender was working diligently, managing both bar and restaurant orders alone.

We were seated at 7:00 PM. After approximately 30 minutes without any service, we were approached by our waitress, Randi C., to take our drink orders. Before our waitress arrived. We requested that a fan be turned on due to the heat; hostess Areana promptly addressed this by activating the ceiling fan and bringing an additional fan over. Her responsiveness and professionalism is greatly appreciated.

When our drinks arrived, there were several issues:

The sweet tea for our 21-year-old daughter and the mixed juice drink for our 12-year-old daughter were missing.

My water with lemon was served without lemon.

We inquired about these missing items multiple times but did not receive them. Eventually, I prepared the sweet tea myself, and my husband went to the bar to order the mixed juice drink. Despite our requests, the lemons for my water never arrived.

We decided to order our entrees immediately, as it was becoming late. Our appetizers were delayed, arriving at 8:36 PM. Upon serving the entrees, one of our meals was forgotten. Additionally, there was confusion regarding our children's orders:

Our 8- and 12-year-olds received adult-sized burgers, despite ordering from the kids' menu.

When we addressed this with Randi C., she insisted that our children had ordered the adult burgers, contradicting our recollection. We then spoke with the manager, LA, who was professional and understanding. She acknowledged the issues and made efforts to rectify the situation.

While the food quality was excellent, the service was lacking. Randi C.'s attitude and lack of responsiveness were disappointing. However, Areana's proactive assistance, the manager's intervention, the bar tenders positive attitude helped mitigate some of the challenges we faced.

Overall, the positive experience, out ways the negativeexperienc. We hope that the management addresses these concerns to improve future dining...
