Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

Edit: 9/27/23 ZERO STARS Ordered today 9/27 @ 3:45pm using the drive-through (I list the date and time so that perhaps management may track who was working this shift and rectify this disaster). Parking lot was empty, no cars in front of us. Seemed odd but I figured it was the time. I was woefully wrong. Placed the order and, after paying, was ordered to move on and park in a spot to wait for my order (and yes, I was "ordered", not "requested" to go park). Had my granddaughter with me and after 17 minutes of waiting in the car I decided to go in and check on my order, however, getting out of the car I looked around and saw that 3 vehicles that had come after me were also waiting in the parking lot so I got back in my car. Not one order served during that time ...things that make you go "huh?" A few minutes later a woman brought us our order. We live 3-4 minutes from Popeye's but when we got home the food was cold and stale. Our granddaughter took 3 bites of her spicy chicken sandwich and commented that there was something wrong with the sandwich. I started eating my order of chicken strips but they were stale, cold and had the firmness and texture of a used beach sandal. I stopped eating them. My wife was also having strips and took a couple of bites and said she wasn't going to eat them, that they were awful. It was obvious that the fries had been fried a long, long time before they gave them to us. Completely inedible. Our granddaughter became violently ill approximately 20 minutes later and vomited. I got bloated in a matter of minutes from the few bites I had and had to take medication. I thought I may have to go to urgent care, honestly. Thankfully my symptoms started to subside. This food gave me the impression that it had been prepared hours before and kept in the open. There are more negatives but I'll stop here. Now we realized why the parking lot was empty when we got there... Awful service, horrible food not fit for human - or animal - consumption, imo. How this place went from 5 stars to not being worthy of any befuddles me. What a shame. We will stay away. Never again.

This is my second time ordering online to this location and both experiences have been awful. Both times when order sweet and spicy wings the staff has tried to give me plain wings out of pure laziness as I watch them, prepare my food in perfect person for both orders, and could clearly see the sauce sitting on the counter right next to the wings and them, ignore it. This last time coming here when I had gotten to the door, the door was locked because I assume they closed up the seating area because they were closing soon. However, an employee did come up and open the door for me never telling me that I had to go through the line to pick up my food or anything else. I had ordered my food ahead, so I wasn’t just gonna leave to be polite, seeing if I already paid for both purchases that I was picking up. When I walked up to the counter, I was immediately ignored by every employee until I was eventually served by one employee named Adrian Adrian was immediately rude to me sighing and rolling his eyes at me, the entire time and very loudly, complaining that somebody open the door to let me in without once ever thinking to address me, or ask me to leave and go through the line or find another solution for the issue. As someone who also works customer service never in my life have I ever felt the need to write a review because I understand just how hard and draining it can be. But the experience I had here was beyond awful and I can understand having one bad day but for it to happen both times that I’ve come here is unacceptable. The first time I sat through and dealt with it, but the second time if I never spoke up about them getting my order wrong, they would’ve never changed it and even then they still made excuses trying to shoot me out of the building even though I am a paying customer who is already purchased, my food before even walking in to the establishment and at the very least, I felt I should’ve been given an explanation for why my food was wrong, and/or why I was being given attitude for entering the establishment in the...

I recently visited Popeyes and decided to try their famous fried chicken. Overall, my experience was quite satisfying.
