Subway — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

I am sadly writing this post because after working in this plaza for 15 years I have seen staff come and go at this local subway. However , the new husband and wife just seems to nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. Today was the last straw. 20 mins ago I purchased a drink ( I work directly next door )then went in for a refill. Thinking I would be a refill charge. Seeing how we are short staffed I can’t eat my sub in THIER store .. I just sneak out grab a sub and eat in between customers. I was told that now I’m being a nuisance and would not be welcome into he store again. I just asked “ if I ate my sub here would I get a free refill “ he told me yes. It’s more of a principle thing .. Not only myself but our WHOLE STORE comes in DAILY to get drinks, subs or cookies. I’m sure we will outlast this crew like we have the ones previously but the owner should be aware of the cut throat business they are displaying. Maybe the lady smoking out front in a chair should’ve been my first sign to stay clear …. Sticking with Publix from now on. I will walk to the end of the plaza to get a...

This place is absolutely horrible. First of all when I checked out the credit card machine automatically added a 20% tip. When I brought it to the young man's attention he told me I added it when in fact I did not. I told him that I wanted a refund and he told me that there was nothing he could do and looked at me as if there was something wrong with me. We ordered two sandwiches a chicken and a steak and cheese and they both sucked. They were cold and tasted horrible. Lastly when I asked the young man if there was a men's room that I could wash my hands he told me that they were both getting remodeled and when I asked him if there was a sink that I could simply wash my hands because they were covered in excessive drippings from the terrible food he repeated himself this time with even more of an attitude than he had when he made my sandwiches. First off, I'm going to clarify something. This place is only getting 5 stars because of Dillon R. I brought my family of 4 into this location around 6pm. This young man not only handled our family greatly, but also as we ordered had a rush of 16 more people come in. He was BY HIMSELF and handled everyone, including those who ordered beforehand. My 6 year old said "I feel bad for him, since he has no help." This store needs to have a manager or something in the back to help when rushes like this come in. Subway food is usually good, but for a 16year old to handle the entire store and a rush that big by himself and still provide quality and care to the food is amazing.
