We eat at Tijuana Flats wherever we travel and vacation. Always great food and service except this time it was the exact opposite.
Our food was horrible and uncooked. We complained about our grandsons quesadilla having no cheese in it at all, and the outside was white and not cooked. My meal and my wifesw meal was so far below anything we've ever eaten that we tossed it in the garbage after eating a few bites.
We brought his meal back and requested our grandsons adult dinner be redone. Then they wanted to recharge us. We told the young lady that we didn't drive back our take-out back to pay for it.
She went away and a few minutes later a manager came back and asked what we wanted. As if not knowing anything?
We explained the terrible meals we received and simply wanted our grandsons meal replaced without having to pay for it again. Her response was just take it!!
Upon getting home it had cheese but was obviously microwaved and not grilled or toasted. The outside and entire meal was milky and white.
I want to know if anyone cares about our experience because we were looking forward to this new store being in our neighborhood. The lady manager was inconsiderate, rude, obnoxious, and obviously doesn't care about a customers experience.
Not having our food and paying for a terrible experience is the unfortunate reason I'm making this...
Read moreI've ordered delivery a few times from this location and usually it's on time, 45-1hr like normal. Order was always correct. Food is ok for a tex-mex place, nothing special, just reliable. For some reason the last time I tried to order delivery I waited for over an hour on a wednesday afternoon and then received a cryptic email stating "YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED, PLEASE CONTACT THE STORE." I called them and spoke to some guy who couldn't find a record of my order for 5 minutes and when he finally did he stated "Uhh, yeah, it's been cancelled I guess. We don't have delivery drivers, we use Door Dash so I uhhh, guess they cancelled it. I found it, it's sitting right here." I stated "alright, well no one is coming to pick up the order, I can't drive there myself at this time." and thought that would be the end of it. The charge sat "PENDING" on my debit card for a few days and then finally went through without a refund, so the guy I spoke to either didn't take initiative to refund the order or didn't care to make sure it was sorted out. $34 for food I never received, and it wasn't like it was delivered to the wrong house or something. Here I am wasting even more of my time contacting my bank to dispute the charge and then post this stupid...
Read moreMy family and I went to TF last night for the Taco Tuesdayz deal. It was extremely busy with door-dash orders, dining in customers, on top of having new faces in training. There was at least 7 people waiting on door-dash orders plus customers waiting to be helped. Gabi and Andrea handled themselves like professionals. Trying to bust out orders, while apologizing to customers for the long wait and trying to maintain the lobby of people. I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant and could've complained but WHY?! I understand customer service. We frequent there and understand Tuesdays are busy days. Its a heck of a deal! :) These ladies were working so hard and of course there is ALWAYS one bad egg; a man who kept telling everyone, he has waited 30+ minutes for his order and loudly saying what is the problem... blah blah blah. Andrea kept coming out to the man, apologizing and offered a refund/free meal next time. My husband spoke up and told him the more he kept bothering them, the longer it would take to get his order. The lobby had multiple dirty tables from customers who had finished/left (prior to us even arriving). I wanted to start bussing tables to be helpful!
