My 83 yr. old mom and I arrived at this restaurant at 5:15 pm and asked for a table for 3. My husband was delayed in meeting us and the hostess told us that we couldn't be seated until all 3 of us were there. There were many tables available. I explained to the hostess that my husband was running late, was on his way, and would arrive within 15 minutes. I also explained that we wanted to order from the "Early Dinner" menu which was only until 5:30 pm. We asked if we could please be seated and we would place our entire order. She told us she would have to find out if we could sit. She went into the kitchen and came back and told us that we could sit at a table for two until my husband arrived. We agreed and gave our very nice waitress Sophie our order. We ordered two "early dinner" entrees, a burger, a calamari appetizer, and two glasses of wine. My husband arrived shortly after we ordered. He was confused as to why my mom and I were seated at a table for two and when asked by the hostess if she could help him, he asked to be seated with me and my mom. Sophie told us that we would be moving to the table right beside the table we were at. When my mom and I were about to get up and move to the table Sophie had ready for us, the hostess told us that we couldn't sit there. We had to sit at a different table by the bathroom. They wanted to keep the table Sophie had ready for us open "in case" a large party came in. We never said that we wouldn't sit at the table beside the bathroom but suddenly a manager/owner started yelling at my husband and accusing him of being entitled. My husband did not do or say anything that warranted such an accusation. He merely wanted to sit with his wife and his mother in law. This manager/owner continued yelling at my husband and caused a big scene in front of the other customers in the restaurant. My husband, who remained calm the entire time the manager/owner was yelling and telling him that there were plenty of other restaurants in St. Lucie West that we could go to, told him that we would leave and gladly pay for whatever food/drink that my mom and I had. He told my husband again and again that he was entitled. This manager/owner was so unprofessional and had my stomach in knots. My husband proceeded to try to pay for our order but Sophie told us we didn't have to. We gave Sophie a tip and left this unprofessional restaurant. We went to another restaurant and proceeded to have a nice dinner at Tutto Fresco, 9501 Reserve Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986, which we...
Read moreI visited this hole in the wall of a restaurant last week in late November with my date. I ordered the $42.00 Filet Mignon Medium Rare which came out Well Done. The steak was like a Hockey PUCK with strings and/oe veins of fat and tough to slice.
I advised my Arrogant and Cocky waitress (Ms.Sk ppl ñekeila A) of this problem and instead of taking my plate off the table and then telling the manager she off and then a tal,l, white, Scrawny and Brash manager came over to our table and didn't even ask me if I wanted a new steak. I kindly requested that he take the horror story of a Filet mignon off my bill. He was very Curt with me and said that he wouldn't take it off my check and took my plate and left.
My waitress came back to our table 15 minutes later and asked if we wanted any dessert and coffee and we replied by saying that we wanted two Liqueurs (Chambord and Frangelico) which are sweet dessert drinks also known as appertifs. Five minutes later the same manager came over and informed us that we were intoxicated which was a fabricated lie and he wouldn't serve us any more alcohol despite us just having two drinks.
I paid he $300.00 check and left in an Uber with my date who I just recently met and it was7ju first time ever going out with her. I left the pretentious young waitress a penny tip to make up for the horrendous Filet Mignon, Fish entree and service which was not of the upmost quality. I hope and know that this restaurant wiill be out of business VER SOON. MARK MY WORDS AS I KNOW MOST OF THEIR CUSTOMERS AND it WILL CATCH UP WITH THEM WITH THEIR SHODDY AND NONEXISTENT SERVICE NOT TO MENTION THEIR EXTREME PRICES AND REPULSIVE FOOD AND DRINKS....
Read moreI’m convinced this restaurant is run by children. 5 year olds. At least, that’s what the level of professionalism feels like, a joke. Have people read the responses by the owner? Do I need to send over a baby sitter or nanny for these unsupervised children running a muck? There are numerous reviews of the food being bad. There are plenty of reviews of the food being good (which I wonder if some are made up reviews to offset the terrible reviews). However, this implies that the food is inconsistent. If the food is bad, own up to it. If the food is good, own that. But strive towards making the food more consistent. Don’t be a child. Grow up. “Our restaurant isn’t for everyone” is the owner’s favorite, immature catch phrase. Keep that up and, pretty soon, your restaurant might not be for anyone, because IT MIGHT BE PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Idiots. With this level of food inconsistency, prices shouldn’t be this high. Is your restaurant struggling or going under? Is that why your prices are so high? Charging people high prices even if the food quality is poor? Not willing to refund or even take criticism? Your restaurant is a mess. I’ve seen pigsties less messy. Have a blessed day.
Food Review: My family and I ordered 4 entrees and 2 appetizers. Some flavors were okay, some flavors were good. The food felt old, and not fresh. Dry, stale, lukewarm, just kinda meh. Brussel sprouts were mush. Fries were stale and dry. Swordfish didn’t have much flavor. Lamb chops were good, although small and...
