Round Bread Sandwich Company — Restaurant in Portage

We have been have been hearing about round bread for a while now and we decided to finally try it out and I am so glad we did! The staff was very kind, which was greatly appreciated and the sandwiches were very yummy! When I received my sandwich I was a little skeptical at first since it really didn't remind me of other sandwiches franchises like Subway and Jimmy Johns who I usually associate with sandwiches but the first bite was delicious (& WAY better than Subway or Jimmy Johns). In my opinion, the bread and sauce were the most standout parts of my meal! An individual 1/2 sized sandwich at first glance is a little more expensive compared to a subway or a JJ but the portion justifies the price. A half sized sandwich is basically 2 tasty meals! Would recommend!

Possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. I was visiting Kalamazoo from out of town and had heard good things about this brand new sandwich shop. I ordered a #1 (Turkey, bacon, aioli sauce) and although it was a little busy I got it pretty quickly. Staff was friendly.

The sandwich was humungous. I'm a big eater and needed to take a break in between halves. The bread was perfect -- not too hard and very tasty. The sandwich was loaded and reminded me of what I would expect to get from a leading sandwich shop in San Francisco or New York. Kalamazoo/Portage is very lucky to have this place and I can't wait to come back when I visit...

I heard many, many great things about round bread so I thought I'd try it. Cold cut sandwiches aren't usually my go-to, so I had low expectations. I was blown a away. I'm hooked now. It starts with the bread, which has some sort of magic seasoning that make it addicting. I might pay full price just for that bread alone! From there the toppings- meats, cheeses, veggies, sauces- all taste fresh and are piled high. The final creation is literally the size of your face and can easily feed two people or last multiple meals- though it's hard to stop eating because it's so good!
