I’m gunna be honest, I was really hopeful for this joint, and hopefully will be proven wrong at the hard launch, but as of now it feels a little un-finished.

Food- there are certainly some highlights and low lights. The grilled chicken combo was a mixed bag, the chicken was good, maybe a touch small on portion for a 14$ plate. The salad was (oddly? Maybe forgotten???) undressed, tomatoes were cut largely, and I was not given my crab puffs with the combo. Desserts were good! Definitely the highlight of the food, the cheesecake was good, the one panna cotta was a tad too gelled but good, and the Oreo cheesecake was great!

Service, definitely still in practice but service is usually fine in Portland restaurants so it will probably be good by hard launch!

Atmosphere, was good. The place was in disarray for the past few years, so I’m definitely happy to see it cleaned up with fresh paint and a nice cafe type aesthetic inside.

I’m truly not trying to rag on this place, just making sure to give good feedback to you before the hard open! I’m very excited for this place, and hope yall makes some sensible changes before the...

This place is awesome!! My girlfriend and I are touring the West Coast and we stopped here for a quick lunch before hitting the road once again. Bennett served us some great food prepared by his grandmother (we had the pulled pork sandwich and the tofu grilled combo) and he even gave us some dessert and drinks on the house! The house-made chips and the Vietnamese coffee were incredibly iconic! Meanwhile he spoke to us about our travels and some cool ideas he had for the restaurant. If you’re in the area definitely check this place out! P.S. word on the street says the Blues BBQ on the 30th is gonna be the event of...

Fabulous customer service! Delicious food! Clean restaurant and clean bathrooms. Plus there is a parking lot. We tried the BLTA and BBQ Pulled Pork. The homemade chips are to die for. They are crunchy and salty. The BLTA had the best bacon that was very crispy which is my favorite. The pulled pork had a good portion of meat and the coleslaw was just the right amount as to not overpower the sandwich. Highly recommend giving this small owner and operator place a try. Can't wait to come back and try the potato knish...

This place just recently opened and it's such a great little spot! My husband and I had the Reuben and the pulled pork sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious! The homemade potato chips that come with the pulled pork sandwich are super tasty as well. We also got to try the cheesecake and it was also super yummy! Matt (the owner) is such a nice and friendly guy, and is super passionate about making sure the food is good and the customers are happy. Highly recommend this place!!
