Keller Fountain Park in Portland, Oregon, is a hidden gem that offers a unique and serene escape in the heart of the city. Our visit to this beautiful park was truly delightful and left us with a lasting impression.

The park's standout feature is its stunning fountain, designed to resemble a cascading waterfall. The sound of the water and the visually striking design create a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The landscaping around the fountain is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of seating areas and green spaces to enjoy. It's an ideal place for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or simply to sit and take in the beauty of the surroundings. The combination of nature and urban design is masterfully balanced, providing a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Portland.

What makes Keller Fountain Park even more special is its accessibility. It's conveniently located and easily reachable, making it a great spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to read a book, a picturesque location for photography, or just a scenic spot to relax, this park has it all.

Overall, Keller Fountain Park is a must-visit when in Portland. Its unique design, calming atmosphere, and central location make it a standout destination in the city. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and beautiful place to...

For the super hot days this is a great place to cool down fast. Family friendly and easy to get to by car or bus although parking is limited. Wade in to get your toes wet or if you feel braver take a seat and cool down in seconds or sink in for a semi-swim*. The whole thing takes up 1 square block tucked away in between the city streets so you can miss it if you don't keep your eyes open driving by. There are 2 levels to access the fountain with a little waterfall in between so take your pick above with more trees and shade or below with more sun. The top also has little mini streams flowing to the pools if you have little ones that aren't old enough for more than a shallow wade, need a hand to hold or just to make it easier for a parent to keep eyes on them. I've seen it with plenty of space and people far enough apart to keep conversations private some days to pretty busy with just a few feet between groups on the edges of the pools on others so it varies depending on time and weather. There is grassy where people picnic (may want to bring a blanket) and pets (on leash) play catch some days above the little stream up top as well.

**The water is never deeper than about waist level for an adult and the pooled areas of the fountain range from the size of bath tub up to that of an average bed so if swimming more than a couple feet is your plan you may want to find an...

Swear to God on me I love it here. Well, did love. Until the day I showed up and the water, all water movement had been ceased. Not seen a drop since. This started roughly 1.5 years ago. I regularly, 3,4 times a week cruise by here in hopes that the water, my calming, soothing, nastolgic, beautiful flowing water has finally begun flowing again. Until today, completely dry here. No water. I emailed address provided on the web to inquire on the status of this beautiful feature in such a beautiful place only met with ridiculously off base emails. Trying to contact via email anyone having to do with places like these is , from my personal...

Keller Fountain Park is beautiful. It's an astounding setting for photos, whether selfies or wedding or other special occasion photography. Set your camera on one of the main waterfalls and let it record a full minute of video, then edit the ends to have a stunning active screen saver. The water isn't on year-round, of course, so grab those selfies while you can. Above the waterfalls are a number of beautifully laid out pools of various depths. Keller Fountain Park is a great place to bring a friend or a good book , and a remarkable legacy for Ira Keller.

Fantastic urban park. Designed by Angela Danadjieva, the Forecourt Fountain was completed in 1970. 13,000 gallons of water per minute cascade through its terraces and platforms, suggesting the Northwest's abundant waterfalls. In 1978, the fountain was renamed after Ira C. Keller (1899-1978), civic leader and first chairman of the Portland Development Commission (1958-72). Keller pushed through the renewal plan for the South Auditorium area of downtown which included the construction of the Forecourt Fountain.
