Large concrete space nestled amongst apartment buildings and assorted PSU buildings, this fountain park serves as a convergence space of several interurban walking paths. There is a large food cart pod nearby and this is a popular spot for lunch, especially during the summer months.
While the architecture of the fountain itself is less interesting than some of the other fountain parks of downtown Portland, it still serves as an interesting centerpiece to the space. In addition to the fountain, there is a large wooden shelter with some benches.
This is a popular meeting place for homeless folks, who will often commandeer much of the seating. I've never been hassled here, though it's worth noting that there is often no seating available.
