I need to stop my affiliation with the School of Business (there’s about a $500 fee every term) as I have taken on a new major. The ONLY WAY to cancel is to call them. Yet they don’t answer their phones or call back! It’s been days and multiple voicemails have been left, it’s unacceptable not to hear back, especially as a student paying good money to be apart of this institution. A lot of it (business schooling) is done through Connect, which has numerous issues that you will have to email the professor about. My accounting professor posts to the Dashboard often about hiccups in the Connect system and to “email her if we get that question.” You will waste your time on this elaborate spreadsheet for there to be a glitch in the system. I miss Clackamas Community College, it is honestly much better in terms of faculty availability for their students. Now I pay heaps more in tuition fees yet get less in return than I would at a community college for FREE. Not an excited new student to PSU so far. Or the school of business.
