I couldn't wait to check this place out while visiting Portland. Went early on a rainy day, most drinks were pretty sweet and I settled on a cold brew which clearly a poor choice, but there was no engagement from the barista. They didn't have pan dulce or pastries. They had chips and nuts (costco run maybe). We walked around the block and stopped at a coffee shop that had bagels, bananas, muffins, cookies and lots of coffee option (and great homemade caramel) So, glad we were able to support Kilo D, but spent so much more a block away with just a few extra offerings and engagement....
Read moreGalletita (cortado in a cookie cup) is only available on Sat/Sun before 11am. I sadly will not get a chance to try it since I'm unfortunately only in town during the week. Service was very friendly and I got an oat milk cappuccino with brown sugar/cinnamon. I also tried the cochinito cookie which was not to my preference since it was a little more doughy / fluffy, like a dry bread. This is definitely more of a grab and go coffee counter since there's only a few narrow window seats. Next time I'm in town, I'll have to come back to try that...

I was searching for an early Saturday morning cup of Portland coffee, KDC was not yet open so I settled for a restaurant cup, walked by KDC 5 mins later and found them open. A woman waiting for her Cookie Cortado told me I had to dump my recent purchase and wait for the cookie bomb. The coffee was so smooth and full of rich creamy goodness. Cookie was crispy and delicious. Wish I lived in Portland so I could enjoy all of the menu. I'll definitely be back if I have the opportunity....
