I was seeking a breakfast option in the downtown area of Portland where I recently stayed. I decided to check out the food truck pod because I know some of the businesses do breakfast and found this spot had great breakfast options. They have lots of burrito options, but I went for tacos because I wanted a smaller portion. I tried the chorizo tacos. They were nice and spicy. There was a lot of food definitely a good portion size especially for the price so a good value for your dollar. They offered several different salsas to go with the tacos so I got to try a few different options within that. Great, great quality overall just delicious and spicy breakfast.

Nice food cart. Meal was pretty much freshly made. Good seasoning and worthwhile main meal portion in a $7.50 combination plate, with a smaller side salad and fresh avocado. Carbonated drinks sold separately from food regardless if it was a taco or combination plate. Combination plate was definitely a MEAL. Good understanding of English. This was a popular cart for dinner when I came by tonight (5 people were ahead of me). Side seating available between food carts (4-5 bar chairs with narrow table ledge.)

So far this is the best Mexican food cart I've found downtown (and I've tried a lot of them)! Everything is well seasoned and flavorful. Heck yes it is a little greasy, that's all the delicious goodness which makes it so tasty! No one wants a dry burrito! And the burritos are massive. I've only ordered the basic asada burrito so far but will be back to try other things. Service is friendly and pretty quick. Plus the new beer garden setup makes it a great spot to hang out while you wait for your food.

I paid for a Green Pepper burrito with steak, as my choice of meat. The rice and steak burrito I received was delicious. But, ... there wasn't any green pepper at all. 😪

They didn't have a lot of ingredients advertised in their menu.

They explained that because of covid19, they don't carry a lot of the ingredients. Then, I suggest changing the menu to what they really have.

Charging customers for the food you don't have, and giving us just something similar, is cheating us. We pay regular price for the whole burrito as advertised on your menu, and just 2 ingredients wrapped with a beautiful flour tortilla.

Talk to your people, stop cheating the customers. Change the menu for what...

The turnover is amazing. How they are able to meet the demands of so many hungry Portlanders is amazing. I took my family to this block for lunch. My dad exclaimed that the food at this cart exceeds any food at any Mexican restaurant he's ever been to. That's a big deal. My dad's eaten a lot of different foods at different places in his lifetime. He had one of the plates, which comes with rice and beans on the side.

I had two tacos from La Jarochita before I visited the Rose Festival. We had an unlimited ride pass. The tacos were delicious and delivered at a fevering pace. However, the rides were not awesome. Do not eat anything before...
