For the main course, I opted for the "Koshari," a quintessential Egyptian dish. The combination of rice, lentils, macaroni, and crispy onions topped with a flavorful tomato sauce was a true comfort food experience. The flavors were harmonious, and the portion was generous.

To end the meal, I indulged in a delightful serving of "Date Me" dessert made with vegan- gluten free- nuts free- dairy free-sugar free) Organic dates, organic Maca, organic tahini, Celtic Salt organic ginger, organic Vietnamese cinnamon. It was sweet but not overpowering, making it a fitting conclusion to the meal.

I cannot emphasize enough on the fact that Malek Egyptian Cuisine creates and delivers on some of the BEST food I’ve EVER had in the many years I’ve lived (and in the many places I’ve lived and traveled to 👌🏽🥇!) Every single dish that I’ve tried from Malek is a flavor explosion on dancing across my palette (and I’ve tried just about all of their “Mac” & koshari dishes and all I can say is WOW! 😮 ). Just in case you don’t know this about Malek, what you should know is that all the ingredients they use are organic, grass-fed, hormone-free, GMO-free & gluten-free (their organic, grass-fed cheese is friggin IMPORTED for crying out loud 😳 🤯!). And don’t even get me started on their scrumdiddily-umptious dessert they have aptly named their “Date Me” dish (I’m salivating just thinking about those yummy, nutrient-dense, superfood-packed squishy little date balls 🤤!). This is not a restaurant. Pick up only. Researched for a new fun place for Friday night date night dinner, finally settled on this spot, and drove 30 mins to here to find a guy greet us in the parking lot to ask if we’re picking up an order and when we said no he then returned inside and locked the door. Not being one for complication or confrontation we debated knocking on the door vs going home. Finally did knock and were brusquely greeted. Told we had to order online. We did. I also asked why there were not any signs or instructions and was told it was because someone broke the door? Okay. Waited for food. After a while tired to find confirmation and or update for the order and couldn’t find anything but then the same guy came out with our food like magic. I said how do you know this is us.
