Sabieng — Restaurant in Portland

I decided to try this thai because it got good reviews overall and it's one that I hadn't tried yet. I opted for pick up. The staff were polite. The food however was terrible. It was luke warm at best and the pad thai tasted of vinegar. My coworker stated he could smell the vinegar. I also got an appetizer platter and it was sparse. If the food is good I don't mind smaller portions but it wasn't good. It wasn't extraordinary. I expected more. The crab Rangoon were barely stuffed and the chicken fingers were literally the size of small fingers. It was just weird. I will never eat at sebieng again. While I appreciate the restaurant's effort to stay open during the holidays, my experience at this Thai establishment was unfortunately disappointing. Upon entering, we noticed a table cluttered with leftover food, which seemed wasteful for someone who loves Thai cuisine. The main dishes we ordered, pad Thai and orange chicken, were overly sweet, making it challenging to enjoy the flavors. I eat at a lot of Thai restaurants and I’d say this restaurant is “okay” the prices are on the cheaper side and the food is not that great but edible. I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t been sold and someone put a decent restaurant here because the location is great. When I went in to get my take out order the female owner frustrated me because she would not start cooking the food until I came and physically paid.
