We ordered a cake and desserts from Sugar Blooms Bakery for our wedding, and it was absolutely delicious! Minh baked us a beautiful and delicious 2-tiered wedding cake with vanilla sponge and passionfruit curd filling. Our guests loved the cake and kept commenting to us how airy the sponge was and how delicious it was with the passionfruit curd filling! As someone who doesn’t enjoy overly sweet and heavy cakes, this cake was perfect for our Asian palette, and multiple guests even drew comparisons of this cake to airy Japanese cakes (also, the texture of her buttercream was so light and whipped—I have never tasted such light buttercream!)! The desserts that we ordered (mango pudding and brownie cookies) were also a big hit—we especially highly recommend the mango pudding!

Minh is such a talented baker, and was such a sweet person to work with, we loved all her creations so much, and we can’t wait to buy more desserts from her in...

This shop has literally the best cookies! With a mochi center they’re always soft. Everything is amazing quality. They just had their grand opening yesterday, but we’ve already been three times. I love how much the owner cares about the community and even adjusted her hours and days because they were selling out so much! One day I saw on IG they had madelines, but she wouldn’t sell them because they they had slightly burnt and offered us some for free. Very kind and sweet. You’ll have to put in your order for a custom cake almost a month in advanced because they’re also that good and in such high demand right now! Sugar Blooms Bakery made our special day even more special with their wedding cakes! We got a two-tier cutting cake and three sheet cakes to feed our 80 guests. We got a cake sample box to taste the flavors before ordering, and chose vanilla buttercream frosted white cakes with chocolate, vanilla, and lemon curd fillings. All were a hit! Sugar Blooms was very easy to talk via email about our needs, questions, and expectations, and the results were amazing—both in terms of appearance and taste!
