Not the place for me. It was a good place until December 2024. Then they got new management and and price gauged everything. The Gatorades were 2 for $5.00. Now they are almost $4. 00 a piece. They are also not great to women. Especially those who do not dress a certain way. Or manicure themselves. ( It is also worth noting that I have not seen one woman as a staff member there. IE it is a fully male staff.) I went to this store in my regular clothes. Not made up or wearing anything fancy. And also not looking "dirty" or " homeless" ( which is not fair to judge them either. Homeless people are just as important as the rest of everybody else). The male staff was talking with a man at the counter and having a friendly conversation and then wished him a good day. When I came up it was a different story. As I was stepping up to the counter, he said, "Next," in a flat voice, and then " cash or card?" I said, "card." I decided to not pay as saw that the price was about $10 for a single Gatorade and a small protein bar. I don't have that kind of money and if I did I would buy a meal deal at a local restaurant. Another time, I called ahead to find put what their deals on Gatorade were. I asked him if they had deals and all he said was, "Yes." I asked what the prices were.He left me hanging on the phone, so after a while I said, " Hello..?" and heard the background noise of the store. Then he hung up. I decided to go to the store because my electrolytes were low. I got to the store and he greeted people as they came in but was watching a show on his phone. Last one: a different time, I came in all "glowed-up" looking totally different than just wearing my usual garb. I was wearing nicer clothes, and had my hair and makeup done. ( I have to admit, unrecognizable compared to the other day.) The way they treated me was night and day difference. Attentive, "kind," patient, going out of their way to pay special attention to me. I guess in that instance, I reflected the type of people with whom they want to do business: people with pretty privilege and those who can seem to afford their price-gauged products. I notice they are nicer to people who drive cars into their parking lot. If you are a person who has pretty privilege or a few extra dollars in your pocket, this is the place for you. But if you just want to get in and out all the while being treated with equal respect, I wish you better...
Read moreEver since new management has taken over, this location has gone downhill. There's significantly more loitering outside the store, and I was actually spat on and threatened right outside by a homeless fella who hangs out there often. He's banned from the store, and they don't allow him inside but are perfectly fine to let him chill out front to menace anyone who walks by. Even having told the clerk about this, he just kinda looked at me, nodded, and proceeded to do nothing about it. I get that confronting unpredictable people hanging out around the store can be a safety issue for people that work there but not being proactive about customer safety is also bad business. Often the clerks are talking on their phones and not paying attention when ringing you up. It's difficult to tell if they're talking to you or someone on the call, and I have to repeat myself when asking for something. I'm usually met with eyerolls or terse and annoyed responses for interrupting their calls which they seem to stay on for hours. To top it all off, 4 days ago I popped in for something to find two clerks having an actual physical altercation behind the counter while throwing packs of cigs and metal signs at each other with customers standing in line. I might expect chaos outside the store but the people who work there actually throwing hands at each other and putting customers at risk is nuts. I genuinely hate going here, it never feels safe. Prices are up, customer service has gone down, and I go to the plaid across the street instead...
Read moreI live 2 houses away from this location. Come here a few times a week on average. Have ALWAYS had good service from the cashiers. Today I came to 7/11 to purchase 2 slices of pizza and a Coca Cola. The cashier informed me that my girlfriend and I stole from them a couple weeks back. Flabbergasted by the accusation naturally I tried to defend myself and character. From their perspective it wasn’t an accusation but apparently a fact. Which made it even more disheartening after all the previous positive interactions I have had with the employees. Whichever manager accused my gf and myself of theft seriously needs to re-check the video evidence. I go to this location all the time and now I am not allowed back in. ...
