MASK POLICY (2020: 5/5) 1)Did you witness employees wearing masks in 2020?: Yes, they all wore masks over their nose and mouth in Spokane, CDA, Post Falls and Hayden locations in 2020. (2021: 0/5 North Idaho ) I'm sure Wendy's follows the regulations in their area, which may vary per location.) 1)Did you witness employees wearing masks in 2021?: Sometimes, depending on location. In early 2021, some wore them, some started wearing them over their mouth but not nose, some on chin. As time went by, we witnessed more and more employees not wearing masks. Now we haven't seen any wearing masks for the last 4 months. I'm sure they follow the regulations in their area, you may be able to call and ask the location. There are many people who need masked employees so asking may help find locations. CUSTOMER SERVICE (5/5): 1)Are the employees friendly, nice, and inviting?: Yes! At each location, the employees are not only nice and friendly, but welcoming and helpful! 2)Do they get your order correct?: Yes! Wendy's has always been great at getting the order correct! It's rare for a mistake, and if that ever happens, they make it right. 3)Are the employees professional, and fast?: Yes! I personally would rather wait for great food than get fast food that isn't as good, and Wendy's manages to do both! They work at a pretty good speed while making great and amazing food at the same time! Delicious! *FOOD (5/5 Fast food): 1)Was your food hot and fresh? Yes! Wendy's always has great, hot and fresh food! From beef to veggies, it's always great, no matter which location. 2) Did your food taste good? It tastes great! 100% Real beef makes a HUGE difference on burgers, their fries are always fresh and perfectly fried, their chili and specialties are delicious, and their salads are always fresh and delicious! 3)Do they get custom orders correct?: Yes! When we ask for things to be added, it is always added. We haven't asked for things to be kept off however. **CLEANLINESS (5/5): 1) Does the drive-through appear clean? Yes! The drive through areas always look clean and smell clean. 2)Does the cooking area and food prep area appear clean? Yes! From what we can see, each one appears to have a clean cook and prep area.3) Are the counters and lobby area clean? Yes! Every Wendy's we have gone in has always looked cleaned, wiped down and looks nice. We have also witnessed them wiping down tables etc many times too. Due to Covid, we were mostly using the drive-thru, but 4 months ago went into the lobby and they were wiping down tables. 4)Have you witnessed Wendy's wiping down door handles and high touch surfaces like soda button/screens? If so, how often?: Unsure. We haven't witnessed that, so I'm not sure how often it's done. That does not mean it isn't done, we just haven't witnessed it. 5)Are the bathrooms clean? In the past, bathrooms have always been very nice, clean, and we'll stocked. OVERALL (5/5): I highly recommend Wendy's in North Idaho and Spokane if you'd like great, delicious burgers, fries, chili, frostiest and more! Long review incoming but the short is this: Save your money and go to the Wendy's near the state line
Normally I give places the benefit of the doubt, especially if I've had no prior issues but today's experience solidified all the negative reviews I've seen come through recently:
I came through the drive thru and ordered two breakfast baconators with extra swiss cheese sauce (which I've done before several times). The woman taking my order seemed a bit confused and stepped away for a moment but came back and was able to get it entered. Fine, good, no big deal. I pulled up to the second window and paid (she was incredibly nice) and all seemed fine but when she shut the window and went back, I immediately heard arguing and swearing among the employees, including what sounded like her saying something about wanting to do right by her customers or something to that effect. Seconds later, I caught her storming out in my rearview mirror with her belongings, implying that she walked out, following the argument. Immediately after that, a more frazzled employee threw open the window and asked me if I'd asked for extra cheese sauce. I calmly repeated my order to her and she replied "I just wanted to know if you wanted extra cheese sauce" to which I replied "Yes, I do. I just wanted to make sure the whole order was right." and then asked for my reciept since this Wendy's is notorious for not giving them out. She said she'd have to get her manager. Next, two managers come up to the window, the guy asking me what my order was which I , again, calmly repeated. He quietly printed it and handed it to me and shut the door and later gave me my food. When I got home, my mother and I saw that they not only didn't put extra cheese sauce on either of our sandwiches after all of that fuss but put even LESS on it than normal. On top of that, the baconators were cold.
I don't know WHAT exactly is going down at this Wendys but the amount of comments about people being rude, managers saying they don't have time to do corrections, poor quality, and now my experience is making it clear that this location either needs to be completely closed down OR that management needs to switched over and the employees need to be treated better because this is not the way things used to be and you genuinely cannot blame the construction for slowness and short staffing when people are able to regularly frequent Starbucks and the Metro car wash. Look inward on that because this is clearly a management issue and a franchise owner who clearly does not care about...
Read more9-4-25 Super conflicted about leaving this review with 1 stars. I’ve honestly never had an issue with this Wendy’s in the whole time it’s been open. The blonde woman (she seemed like a manager or supervisor), she deserves 5 stars Wendy’s… the other male who works here with shaggier hair, he’s the reason for the 1 stars. He was rushing my food out of the window. I always check for straws, sauces, etc when I get my order. I saw my chili fries were completely sideways in the bag right as he handed the bag to me and showed him. He says “yeah, they’re a little toppled over.” With the worst attitude, Like it wasn’t a big deal at all. Then I told him that I did ask for onions and showed him with the lid on. He told me super rude again with his words and his face, “yeah, there’s onions on that.” I had to physically open the lid and show him and he said he would grab onions. Then the woman showed up at the window and we were both confused. I told her I was just waiting for onions and then we were still kind of wondering so then I addressed the whole thing with her and she was just awesome in attitude and apologized and said she would just get me a new chili fry. I really appreciated her and hope the owners recognize her professionalism… and also recognize how poor this young man’s attitude was in a...
