Decided to give Westside a try recently, because the pictures looked great. We walked in and we're greeted by an employee who immediately showed us the current specials. So far so good. Large specialty pizzas we're on sale for $14.99. I said I'll take one of those. We decided on the all meat pie. Maybe it was a new coupon, but the employee wasn't sure how to ring up there sale price and the total ended up being less than the sale price, which admittedly I was ok with. About 15 minutes later we got our pizza and headed home. The car smelled great, and it took all of my strength not to open the box in the car. My hunger pangs had set in and I was ready to devour multiple slices. After the first bite I knew I had gripe with this pie. The crust did not taste freshly made that day like they advertise, and more like it came pre made and pulled out of the freezer that day. The quantity of toppings should have been the saving grace, but there was absolutely no flavor. The red sauce that was on the pizza had no flavor and added nothing to the overall experience of the pizza. Overall we were very disappointed. We went in with high hopes, afterall there seems to be a lot of good reviews, but we we're let down. Maybe I will give it another try in the future, but for nearly $20 I would hope my pizza would taste better than a carryout from Domino's. I even checked with a friend who recently went there and he too had a similar experience. Really hoping it was just...
Read moreWestside Pizza has amazing pizza. They are understaffed but working themselves into a frenzy. Customer service could use a little help. Especially over the phone. Phone was full of static and loud background noise. The young girl couldn't tell me how long it would take for my order to be ready. She did give me a total. He phone etiquette was just off. First time I went, I was in and out with my order. Second time I went, I phoned it in, and waited inside their lobby for 25 min because they were so backed up. As I was watching the employees work, no one was goofing off. Everyone was working quickly. Included the guy who I would've pegged as the owner or mgr. Two people were waiting for their to-go order when I arrived and two people were waiting for their to-go order when I left. The pizza was hot and delicious. I ordered 2 grande pizzas and a cheese bread and paid $50 and change. That's probably current market value for pizza nowadays but I like Costco's pizza at $9.99 price point better. Big parking lot with lots of room. On hwy 41. This was the old Nate's Pizzaeria where they served huge pizzas with little on them. Westside is better. I'd choose Westside over all the big box pizza chains including papa johns, papa Murphy's, dominos,...
Read moreAfter reading all the great reviews decided to give them a try. Unfamiliar with their pizzas, but couldn't find ingredients/toppings on their menu. Called and inquired about the pizzas we were interested in. They told me it would be about 40 minutes. I give them lax because it was a Friday, but at 5:59 I received a text saying it was on the way. Called at 6:30 as it had not arrived. "Should be arriving any minute." This was at 6:31. It did arrive at 6:36. Google says it only takes a max of 4 mins from their business. So 35 minutes after their text we get our pizzas, ($40 btw) it arrives, is not crispy and we're really disappointed, as we were hoping for something special in Post Falls and we didn't get it. I'm sorry, I had really hoped for more, they just didn't pull through. And, as it would have it, we weren't happy with either the Kahuna or garlic chicken. The Brownie pie looked cheap in a tin, tasted good, even though it was dry and couldn't keep it's shape. Again, sorry for the bad review, just...
