Dragon 168 — Restaurant in Powder Springs

When I tell you that nowadays it’s getting harder and harder to find a Chinese Restaurant that can do what’s expected. But not only did they meet my expectations (which wasn’t very high to begin with) I was pleasantly appeased by how fairly priced the food is.

What I had was a very simple order. Singapore Noodles and 2 shrimp vegetable rolls. Normally I asked the employee to help me visualize how big the fried roll is. After all I’m paying $2.70 PER ROLL. And she assured me that it was a fairly big size. But I took her response with a grain of salt. While I wait for my food, I decided to get me a reliable bottle of Barefoot Moscato Wine from Publix. When I returned back for my food. It was done. And to be honest I wasn’t in Publix long at all. Probably anywhere between 6-8 minutes, if I distinctly concentrate on recalling just how long it took me. But I’m definitely not going to torture myself recalling minuscule details during a quick shopping errand.

I digress, sorry ‘bout that. But long story short, I ended up getting another order with only three egg rolls. And I did. That without initially looking at them inside the store. It wasn’t until I got back into my car going home…I finally that I definitely got my money’s worth. And that’s definitely an important factor in these trying times we’re living through.

In the end, it’s just a no brainer for me after my initial experience. If anyone in either Dallas, Hiram, Powder Springs, West Cobb, Marietta, Mableton or Austell ask for a recommendation. Without hesitation it’ll...

I used to go here frequently for the past 3 years. Unfortunately I had not been able to go back for a little while. Last week I realized that they had a new owner. I decided to still give the place a change. SOOOO MUCH HAS CHANGED. The portions have changed The quality of the food has gone down And the lady in the front lacks customer service. Today I decided to give it another change today. That was a HUGE mistake. I placed my order at 7:10pm while I was driving from Lithia springs to powder springs. The lady on the phone told me it would be ready in 10 mins. My drive took almost 30 mins I got to the restaurant at 7:40pm I had to wait 10 in line. When I paid I told the lady my order number and she informed me my order wasn’t ready. By the time I got my food it was 8pm !!! It took them almost an hour to make my food.

This place has really gone downhill since the management change!!! Do not give them...

Ok so my “ Go To” Restaurant for Chinese(Asian Cuisine) is the Dragon 168 Located across from Home Depot on Richard D. Sailors Powder Springs. I have come here some much that I’ve watched the children go from toddlers to running the front register 🥰 The food is amazing. One of the only restaurants I know that has “chicken egg rolls” 🤤 also the only restaurant that when you order veggies fried rice they give you a huge order fully loaded with Bean sprouts, cabbage, peas, carrots, baby corn, water chestnuts, broccoli, green bell peppers, green onion and celery with of course the fried egg.. I love all the food but my go to is the order of fried chicken wings “crispy “ with lemon pepper sprinkles. The service is also amazing… always pleasant and willing to service everyone.
