GEORGE E. FORD CENTER — Attraction in Powder Springs

The Ford Reception Hall was "ground zero" for the Puckett EMS Christmas party that I DJ-ed this past year. The venue was very clean and spacious. It had one main entrance with multiple doors and a covered awning for loading in and loading out my equipment in the rain. Parking was a considerable distance from the main entrance, and up a slight incline... Not terrible, though. Lighting was easily controlled with dimmable slides and multiple switches. Outlets throughout the venue made locations for my remote wireless speakers an easy setup too. The main space was also equipped with a large retractable screen, projector and house sound. I attended the NuGen pan side concert there. It was lovely. A warm small gathering with food and great music. The space was perfect. With a nice not-too-obvious kitchen tucked away. Great space for small events like an intimate musical concert, baby shower, birthday party. Even a wedding...
