08/27/2022:Took two nephews and a niece and my wife. All was great 3xcept my fajita shrimp burrito which was not what I ordered. But some shrimp and melted cheese that killed the flavor of the shrimp. With out of town niece and nephews and packed restaurant so I let it go. Prior Visit: Super Excellent. My wife and I took a nephew there for dinner and were all very pleasantly surprised. The portions were excellent and the flavor and quality of the food was excellent. The facility that we could see inside and out was very clean. Social distancing is excellent in this large dinning area and ALL staff are wearing mask as do we except when eating. The staff was Excellent, menu is excellent and vast with flexibility. My wife had a great Margaretta but the beer options are limited for the nephew and I. My wife had Chili Conquesso Combination Dinner which also came with two tacos our nephew indulged. Our nephew had a 32 ounce Modelo draft with three Enchiladas and I had two soft shrimp tacos with Pickled Jalapenos, Spanish Onions, Cilantro and Tomatillo Sauce and water. We all had a bowl of chips and salsa. Beer: Tuesday night is Margarita Special night and Wednesday night is draft beer special night. I asked for either Michelob Ultra Pure Gold Organic Lite Lager, Rolling Rock or Killians in Draft or Bottle and they have neither of the three which was VERY disappointing. My nephew asked for three different options including two of my three choices and settled for a Modelo or Dos X draft. So, the Beer selection is Not good and they offer specials ONLY on Tuesday night for Margaritas and Wednesday nights for their poor Draft selection. Otherwise the place is great. I wish we could do BYOB so we would have a beer we like. Pictures next trip-soon without the limited...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant for a birthday celebration. Despite a last-minute increase in our party size, the accommodating manager made sure we were comfortably seated at two long tables. While the drinks and food did take a bit longer to arrive, it was understandable given the size of our group.
The restaurant’s ambiance was warm and inviting, with vibrant decorations that set the stage for a festive evening. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal.
Now, let’s talk about the food! La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant did not disappoint in that department. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Mexican dishes bursting with flavors. From the sizzling fajitas to the cheesy enchiladas, each dish was carefully prepared and presented beautifully. The portions were generous, ensuring that no one left hungry.
One particular standout was the fresh guacamole, which was made tableside with perfectly ripe avocados and accompanied by homemade tortilla chips. It was clear that the ingredients were of excellent quality, and the flavors were vibrant and well-balanced.
While the wait time for our drinks and food was more extended than anticipated, the overall dining experience at La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant was delightful. The accommodating nature of the manager and the attentive staff contributed to a memorable evening for our party.
I would highly recommend La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant for those seeking a lively atmosphere, delicious Mexican cuisine, and...

Tonight, I had a very disappointing experience at one of my favorite spots. One of the main reasons I’ve chosen this place over other options closer to home has always been the quality of their grilled chicken. Unfortunately, that seems to have changed. Instead of the hearty portions I’ve come to expect, the chicken was chopped into so many tiny pieces that it gave the appearance of more, but in reality, it was a small portion with a lot of hard, dry crumbs that tasted old. It felt like the kitchen was cutting corners, and as a customer, that comes across as being cheated. To make matters worse, my nachos weren’t even served with proper tortilla chips. Instead, I found large, broken taco shells mixed in. Yes, I know they’re made from the same thing, but I didn’t order taco shells—I ordered nachos. The presentation was careless, and the experience overall was disappointing, especially from a place I’ve always enjoyed. To be fair, my server was excellent. She was attentive, accurate, and I truly appreciated her service. But the kitchen really fumbled tonight. Because I love this place, I’ll give them another chance—but if the quality of the grilled chicken on the nachos continues to slide, I’ll have to find another go-to spot. I don’t like feeling cheated, and that’s exactly how I felt tonight.
OLD REVIEW: I always enjoyed my visits here the food is always good and the drinks are good. It's one of my favorite spots to go and I believe that they have a lot of good options to...
