I went to this location because options were limited after midnight. When we pulled up to one of the two drive thru intercoms, the first thing the attendant said was that they were only accepting cash. Not a big deal, I worked fast food for four years, so assume that their computer system was down. Another big tell was that they said they'd have the total at the window. We waited for three minutes before being greeted at the window and then given the total. It seemed a little high so I asked what was on the order. There was another car with more people ordering at the same time as us, so it seemed like a valid question. She gave me a look of absolute disgust, I don't know, maybe it was a dumb question after all. She reassured us that it was our order, so I gave her the cash. When i got the food, I just counted the number of sandwiches and assumed all was good. When I arrived at home I discovered that all 5 of the sandwiches were in the same wrapper, 4 double cheese burgers, 2 with ketchup only, and 1 McChicken. 5 wrappers later, turns a there was no McChicken. Funny story, that's not the worst part, all of the double cheeseburgers were singles with an extra slice of cheese. And because their computer system was down, I never received a receipt.
So I lost out on like 5 dollars worth of McDonald's, not my worst fast food experience. The point is that people don't go to McDonald's in the middle of tyre night because they're expecting a gourmet meal, but they expect to get what get pay for. If this unacceptable service continues, I imagine people will just go to the frozen food section at Wal-Mart and rely on their microwaves.
TLDR: All around...
Read moreIt's a fast food restaurant so we don't always expect high quality for a lot of things. But this was by far one of the worst Mcdonalds I've ever been to - granted, it was drive thru but seriously.
It was NOT busy in the slightest and yet the person over the intercom kept speaking so fast they were cutting me off through out my order then asking me to repeat myself. Maybe if they slow down and listen, they wouldn't have to correct their mistakes and ask customers to repeat themselves multiple times. If it was during a busy time or there were a lot of cars, I would cut some slack but there was only 3 cars including myself and it was mid-day.
Cashier didn't double-check which order was mine, just simply said the total and held their hand out for the money. Again, slow time and not many cars so makes sense they should know which order is whose right? Wrong. The price was x2 what my transaction was to which I explained what I ordered and got a "Oh, okay so it's this total then".
Pull up to the window, I always check for sauce because depending which location you go to, they don't ever put any in the bag despite saying it ahead of time unless you ask right there. Server shoved the bag out so fast and let go, it almost dropped everything on the ground, passed me 3 dark sodas (coke, dr. pepper, etc.) without saying which was which or having them marked, and slammed the window without ever looking back so if I wanted sauce, Shit out of luck. Good thing we keep spares in our car because there wasn't any or straws in the bag.
Honestly, just find the next closest Mcdonalds or go somewhere else. They're rude, impatient, and...
Read moreTrust me when I say that I have never felt so compelled to write a review for a McDonald's like I have with this location.
I've never experienced such greed as I have at this location and I have been to many locations across the globe. This store is very clearly a franchise because what they've done is gouge the prices so that if you were to use a corporate deal or coupon, you'd be paying the ORIGINAL price at any other corporate owned location. Now, is this bad? One might say so. I understand that this is far off the beaten path in Arizona but my god this is abhorrent.
There's no reason for a 10-piece chicken nugget order to cost $7.89 when that's literally the cost of a MEAL elsewhere. The increase in price is across the board. For example, I used the $1.50 off coupon for a mccafe and ended up paying $2.00 for the medium size... which is literally the original cost of the medium drink elsewhere.
To top it all off, the service is EXTREMELY slow. There was absolutely nobody in the drive thru line and yet it took over 7-8 minutes to get our order curbside. When we got it, our fries and burgers were cold. Now I know that people have historically complained but when I tell you that this was not only the WORST order I've ever gotten from McDonald's it really doesnt begin to cover it.
I'm so glad I don't live here because the residents are...
