This Starbucks is only good with certain staff. I ordered a drink and a Danish this morning- asked my coworker to pick it up. She gets there and there are only beverages there..so she proceeds to grab it and bring it to our place of employment. I soon realize that there is not pastry. She says there wasn't one when she went this morning- only drinks. I called to speak with someone in hopes of a reasonable outcome. Maybe a refund or the possibility to pick it up at a later time. But no. The Starbucks worker was short and rude with me.stating she put the pastry up front with the drink personally. I have had a few issues with this place - order mishaps and missing items in the past. So I honestly don't believe that it was sitting there in front of the drinks and my co worker just said Ill leave it. And the person on the phone was familiar - I have dealt with them before so... Nothing was offered except the need to reiterate how they did their job. Just very rude. Don't work on customer service if you can have empathy. Do better with your attitude and customer service skills. "2 stars- they always play...
Read moreWas just there around 1 on my lunch break. I've been going for awhile to this Starbucks. I've never had a problem before until today. The younger girl with glasses dark hair needs to talk a class on how to provide proper service to people. Asked for a cake pop and coffee. I usually get the cake pop at the cash register , but no she said it'll be ready at the end. Ok no big deal. My coffee is ready still no cake pop. Now I have to go back to cash register. She continues to make me wait for the cake pop. I don't mind waiting if they're busy but she was not busy. I had to asked 2 x time before she got it ready. She kept telling me in a minute while she continued to talk with her coworker. Her tone was very condescending. I could see if the place was packed it wasn't. She had plenty of time to get it and still had me waiting. Then once she gives it to me not even extending her arm out to me so I can reach better I drop my coffee. I'm so upset that once I walked I just threw out the coffee and cake pop. NEVER WILL I GO...
Read moreI was recently asked to leave this Starbucks location because I wasn’t making a purchase. I wasn’t aware this was a new corporate policy, and while I understand if that’s the rule, it could have been communicated with more tact and basic courtesy. I often stop in before my class starts just to read quietly, and this has never been an issue before.
Instead of politely informing me that the policy had changed and kindly allowing me to stay this one time, with a heads-up for the future, I was abruptly told that I had to either order a drink or leave. It was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing.
In this day and age, where empathy and social awareness are more important than ever, I’m surprised at how poorly the message was delivered. It wasn’t about the policy. It was about how it was handled. There was zero effort to make me feel like a valued guest or even just a human being. We should expect better than that from a well...
