I had the displeasure of visiting this McDonald's location on Thursday, February 8, 2024, around 10:00 PM, and I must say, it was an utterly disappointing experience. Firstly, the dine-in section closed prematurely, leaving customers like me scrambling to the drive-thru for service.
Upon reaching the drive-thru, I encountered a Caucasian employee with whitish hair who exhibited the epitome of rudeness and incompetence in customer service. Not only did he fail to understand the concept of providing a satisfactory customer experience, but he also displayed blatant disrespect and condescension towards me.
My order, placed via the app, consisted of:
Quarter Pounder® with Cheese Large Meal Double Big Mac® 6 pc. Chicken McNuggets® with Tangy BBQ Dipping Sauce (4), Honey Mustard (4), and Ketchup Packet (4) Extra Honey Mustard (1) Large Lemonade Large Coke®
The most absurd part of this ordeal was his objection to the number of sauces I had requested for my order, despite the fact that I had already completed my order through the McDonald’s mobile app, which explicitly allowed me to select the desired quantity of sauces without any additional charge. Instead of acknowledging the error or addressing the issue politely, he resorted to a ridiculous laminated chart to lecture me on sauce allocation, all while holding up the line of cars behind me.
To make matters worse, he had the audacity to dictate how I should eat my food, insisting that fries should only be consumed with ketchup. Excuse me? Since when did McDonald's employees become culinary dictators? His unwarranted interference and blatant disregard for customer preferences left me utterly flabbergasted. I typically dip my fries in the Tangy BBQ Dipping Sauce—NOT ketchup.
Furthermore, the absence of ketchup in my order for the other food items, despite the inclusion of other sauces, reflects the sheer incompetence and negligence of the staff. This level of disregard for customer satisfaction is simply unacceptable.
The conversation was rendered even more unnecessary when the employee admitted that the sauces were already in the bag from the get-go, stating, “She (another employee) already put them in the bag.” So why even waste our time to lecture me and ask if I wanted to pay for additional sauces?
I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy exhibited by this particular employee. His behavior was not only disrespectful but also bordered on racial insensitivity, as evidenced by his dismissive attitude towards my preferences. The fact that other reviews from non-Caucasians echo similar sentiments only solidifies my belief that there are underlying issues of racial bias at this establishment.
In conclusion, I am compelled to award this McDonald's location a dismal one-star rating, solely for the quality of the food, which was barely passable. However, the abysmal treatment and demeanor of the staff warrant a resounding negative rating. It is imperative that McDonald's management address these issues promptly and take concrete steps to ensure that such deplorable incidents do not recur...
Read moreBeen here many times and I would say 75% of the time something is missing from my order. If you go be ready to order something twice or maybe order double everything you need. Always check your order before leaving. Today's episode: I made a mobile order and picked up from curbside. Today I was missing a double 1/4 lbs. with no onions. Went inside to get missing food. Waited around for 7 minutes for someone to talk to me in a empty lobby. Conversation with employee: Me: I am missing a doubled 1/4 with cheese and no onions. E: OK Me: Can I get one please. E: What are you missing? Me: Double 1/4 with cheese and no onions E:OK Double 1/4 no cheese and no onions Me: No, no onions E *walks over to kitchen and I hear him tell manager (I think) Missing double 1/4 no cheese no onion Manager to me: Double 1/4 no cheese and no onion? Me: No, only no onion. Manager yells down line: I need a double 1/4 no cheese and no onion Me: shakes head. They bring me the food 5 minutes later.
Me: Thank you for not including all my food the first time then even after checking what I ordered 2 times not providing what I asked for. I need to go.
Update 5 days later went again. This time missing items before I left. 1 small OJ - the only drink I ordered not sure how you miss this 1 small fry
After getting home the triple cheeseburger for my son marked no cheese, no mustard, no pickle, no onion had all of those and no ketchup the one thing he wanted.
Update 1/2023 Still have yet to ever get a complete correct order from this location. Come here 1 maybe 2 times a month because kids beg for it. Today's order was not only incorrect but they bagged the cold apples with blazing hot fries. They put a napkin between them as insulation. Place is a joke. Never leave without checking your order.
Update 3/2023 Strike three I should have known better but gave this place one more chance. I was not surprised. Missing Kids orange juice from order. After 4-5 minutes to get someone's attention. Employee: How can I help you? Me: I am missing a Kids Orange Juice Employee turns around opens a fridge and gives me a apple juice box. Then goes to the back. Another employee notices the question mark above my head I guess. Employee 2: What do you need? Me: I am missing a Kids Orange Juice. Employee 2: takes apple juice puts back in fridge. Walks back and forth a couple times trying to find right cup. (Might be newer employee but seems willing to help). Get right cup and gets OJ. Hands it to me. Walk back to table...... Notice they gave me a 4 pice nugget not a 6. I can't handle having to go through the dance again and...
Read moreUpdate: The employee at the speaker was impatient and rude. Retrieving my orders was inconvenient, as I had to go around twice to get both. Additionally, the Happy Meal was supposed to include an extra order of fries, but my daughter didn't even receive a full portion of the single fry she did get. The drive-thru does not move efficiently. It took forty-five minutes to pick up a Happy Meal, a large fry, and a double cheeseburger, even though there were initially only two people in line when I arrived.
The manager displayed a poor attitude when I requested the missing fry for my daughter. It seems they are shortchanging customers on fries; I also noticed a small fry missing in my large fry order. The drive-thru became gridlocked with the increasing number of customers during the forty-five minutes it took to receive my order and resolve the missing fry issue. The staff is incapable of listening to customers, even to take an order. When trying to get my daughter's missing fry fixed, the manager acted as if it was unreasonable that my daughter had eaten some of her food while waiting in line for over twenty minutes for the other fry.
Past order To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had at your restaurant. I had went to pick up an order for delivery, which included chicken nuggets. Upon arriving to pick up my customers order, I was informed that the store was out of chicken nuggets and that no substitutions could be made. Despite this issue, the order was not canceled the staff said it's just sitting in the third screen of orders not getting made, resulting in a significant waste of my time and fuel and having a customer waste their time waiting on an order that's not coming.
I was particularly frustrated when I was met with a dismissive attitude from the staff member who informed me that nothing could be done to resolve the situation. It would have been much more considerate to cancel the order proactively, thereby saving both the delivery driver and customers valuable time and effort.
This experience has been highly unsatisfactory, and I urge you to address these concerns to prevent similar incidents...
