Fantastic. Great high-dairy-fat base with an excellent texture, creative flavors definitely made as a pastry chef would — not the commodity flavoring you get elsewhere. So I’ve had the chocolate — not as intense as Toscanini’s chocolate or Herrell’s chocolate pudding, but it’s very chocolatey and cleaner and better balanced than the other two. The butter ice cream tastes a bit like brown butter and has a cultured dairy taste in there that adds some acid. Lovely. The toasted coconut tastes like… freshly toasted coconut. Surprisingly, the star of the show was the non-dairy mango sticky rice ice cream. Read moreArrived around 9pm and there was a small line but it moved quickly and the very kind staff did a wonderful job moving things along and still allowing us to try a few flavors (thank you!) I was with my family so had the opportunity to sample many of the incredible flavors on offer: mango sticky rice, tamarind fish sauce (sweet/sour/spicy/salty!!!), lemon creme, fig marscapone, cherry pie, Vietnamese coffee. I chose toasted coconut and cardamom apricot 🤩🤩🤩. Fun flavors but also really creamy, rich delicious ice cream - texturally some very, very good scoops. The dairy free options were also so rich and creamy!!! How do they do it!? It’s magic!
