My husband and I went here for breakfast. It’s a cute little spot tucked nestled in-between other businesses on a great Providence strip off of hope street, and it literally looks like a little blue cottage!!. The first impression I had when we entered was how tiny and sweet it was. I only wish it was a little updated? Maybe the tables and chairs? The women who was our server was very nice and inviting. Yet, She didn’t ask once how our food was once, understandable because she had other customers. We aren’t very picky however my pet peeve when going out is if I can make it better at home than it’s not really worth it. And unfortunately the eggs Benedict that I ordered came out completely terrible. I was just polite enough not to complain to the sever about the out come of my food. The pouched egg was over done, no nice golden egg yolk, just a hard boiled egg type of center, the whites themselves were even tiny and rubbery (mind you I had two pouched eggs with this meal with the same outcome!)....I chose the egg Benedict with asparagus, yet that’s all they came with...a classic Benedict is muffin, Canadian ham (which they don’t have, just regular ham), a pair of perfectly pouched eggs and hollandaise sauce. In stead I was give a muffin, chopped up tiny bits of cold (what seemed like frozen) unseasoned limp asparagus pieces, over-cooked rubbery pouched eggs, topped with broken hollandaise sauce....I had to request “regular” ham on the side and reassembled my Eggs Benedict. My only saving grace was when my husband decided to switch his eggs (over easy) with mine (pouched rubbery sadness) because he felt bad. The flavors were good, after I had seasoned them with some salt. The overall atmosphere was nice and inviting. I only wish there was more craft behind my meal, it seemed that either the chef didn’t know how or cared enough to have made my meal better. My hope is that the chef considers the quality they are serving out to people as missteps like this are very easy to detect before even leaving the kitchen. I mean I noticed them the minute my plate was set down....I would have gladly waited for my meal to be made properly if that’s what needed to be done in the first place? Sorry guys, I wish I had more better things to say about my food, maybe we picked the wrong thing off the menu? This was sadly our first time...

I usually visit a restaurant several times before reviewing, but I am traveling so will probably not get back to this place again. So take this review as a review of this particular dish, not the place as a whole.
First the restaurant is small, but clean and tidy. The one person staff was friendly, greater me as I entered and offered several choices of seat. There are only 9 tables and 4 were taken. Not busy, but not bad for 10:30 on a Monday morning.
I ordered traditional eggs benedict. There were several choices as additions at no cost. Tomatoes and spinach are farily common, but asparagus is an unusual addition. I did order the asparagus. The meal comes with fried potatoes.
The meal was quite flavorful and generally well prepared. There was plenty of boiled asparagus and a generous serving of potatoes. The eggs were just slightly under cooked and the asparagus would have benefited being roasted or grilled for a few minutes to bring out the flavor. So 4 stars not 5.

Read moreI wanted to take a moment to share how much I enjoyed my recent visit. I stumbled upon your little hidden gem, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The service was excellent, and the waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive.
As for the food, everything was absolutely amazing. had the mango shake, which was refreshing and delicious. For my main course, I tried the eggs with homemade corned beef hash, and I have to say it was the best I’ve ever had. The potato slices under the hash added such a delightful touch, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Every bite was a treat!
I’ll definitely be coming back and will highly recommend your...
