We came here for our anniversary dinner over Memorial Day weekend. It was a busy weekend and I was late to the game making reservations so we only were able to reserve seats at the bar at 8:30pm. If I had been more on my game I wish I had reserved outside seating it looked lovely. But the bar was fine. It was less busy than I expected with open seats at the bar making us wonder why they didn’t take any walk ins. We could still see outside as the sun was setting. We started with a cesar salad to share. The salad was barely dressed, literally bone dry. You’d think sitting at the bar we’d have good service but it wasn’t great. The bar tender was very friendly. But she didn’t check on us or make eye contact often. It wasn’t that busy at this time. We aren’t drinkers and just had soda so maybe we weren’t drinking expensive enough drinks to warrant more attention. I’d have sent back the salad or asked for more dressing but she never once came over and asked how our salad was. We were starving so after a few minutes we just ate it as is and it was like eating romaine lettuce plain. Bummer. It was like that with our sodas as well. She never noticed how long we sat with empty glasses. I finally waved her down and asked for a refill. We ordered the Seafood Stew and the Paella. Both dishes were delicious and five star meals. Disappointed that no one ever asked us how our meal and experience was. But the main dishes were good enough to...

Every aspect of our dinner exceeded our expectations. Marina was our table captain for the evening and provided exceptionally professional service and warm hospitality. Her knowledge of the menu and pairings provided us with a depth of appreciation for their varied offerings. We enjoyed beautifully briny Wellfleet oysters, the rack of lamb served lollipop-style, and the filet mignon of beef with an su jus reduction. everything was cooked precisely to our request and the flavors were incredible. Their wine selection is deep and varied and provides many exceptional European selections. Highly recommend Ross' Grill!

This is our third visit in as many months to Ross'. In my humble opinion, one of the most important elements of an exceptional restaurant is consistency. The team at Ross' exceeds expectations on this measure.

Greeted warmly as a returning customer by the owner, we were seated promptly and greeted by our favorite waitress, Marina. Marina again proved to be exceptional in every way, anticipating our needs, offering subtle opportunities for each dish, and being extremely attentive without interrupting.

Cesar appeared with a bottle of Italian wine that he discovered during his recent trip to Europe. The wine was exceptional and an extremely good value.

We enjoyed steak frites and seafood stew after indulging in a dozen Wellfleet oysters.

Again, everything was exceptional. I...

Starting with the good: the food was very tasty. I got the steak and my girlfriend got the chicken and they were both portioned well and delicious.

Now that we got all of the good out of the way, why did I rate the restaurant 2 stars? Well, because my girlfriend and I went to the restaurant on Valentine's day and it was 51 degrees in the restaurant. 51!!! That's freezing! We (as well as everyone else in the restaurant) were all sitting around in multiple coats and hats and shivering. They had multiple space heaters placed around the restaurant but they barely seemed to be doing anything.

The staff didn't offer any acknowledgement or apology for the temperature. In fact, despite there being plenty of staff on hand, the service itself was quite poor overall. My water was only refilled once the whole evening and my girlfriend only get 1 refill of her 'bottomless' coffee (which she order mostly for warmth and it wasn't even hot!)

While the food was good, I am/was pretty upset I spent my valentine's day at this restaurant. While I'm sure we would have had a very different experience in warmer weather, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this...

Ross’ Grill is a Provincetown must every time we visit. First discovered thanks to the owners of the Queen Vic who recommended it during our stay there, it has quickly become a favorite of ours. The view is stunning, but it’s the food and staff that keep us coming back. We started with an Aperol spritz and enjoyed the view for a bit. Then we shared risotto (two orders!), coconut shrimp, and tried from the specials menu the scallops with a celery purée and the soft shell crab—all delicious and paired perfectly with a French rosé. One steak frites rounded out the meal although we couldn’t resist the Lemon Crème Brulée for dessert served with homemade whipped cream. Service was warm and attentive. Pro tip: make a reservation—it books up fast, even the bar. Yes, it’s that good!
