Lou Malnati's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Proviso Township

Recently the delivery driver did not follow instructions and had an attitude problem when explaining he was refusing to deliver as instructed.

I gave a good tip for the short drive and expected contactless delivery as paid for and requested. I don't like the current system where I have to tip before delivery, this last delivery person didn't deserve one. They seemed inebriated.

I answered the request to review my order email and I notified the restaurant of the failure of their delivery person and they said they would contact me but it's been two weeks and nothing but silence. I've reached out 3 times.

Someone finally called me but refused to identify themselves.

Was really happy when we got a malnatis in our area. Almost always order deep-dish. It was really good upto a couple months ago. They always had tons of cheese and layers of meat. The last couple times our pizza was terrible. The crust is so bland and dried out. Not what you would call crispy. They have been all sauce no toppings. Hardly any cheese and no meat. Called to complain, they made us another one and it was just as bad. We'll stick with other locations. I was very disappointed in the 2 large cheese pizzas ordered in October '22 to celebrate my birthday with family.. We received 2 pizzas with tomatoes and dough. No kidding. The cheese was almost non-existent. I wanted to drive back and return them but it was too much of a hassle. My guests and myself are all lon time Lou Malnoti fans. This occassion, everyone commented the Broadview location pizzas were a huge, unexpected disappointment. How could there be no cheese on a signature pizza? 80 dollars for 2 pizzas and large salad.
