Amazing, food was great - my boyfriend said it was probably his favorite breakfast he's had since we've been in Colorado for 2 years. The bacon was cooked 100% perfectly!!! The eggs melted in our mouths and the pancakes were of prime fluffiness. We were both very impressed. We drove 30 minutes from the Springs to get here. Totally worth it EDIT: we just came back a second time and it was AMAZING. We tried the tot scrambled meal and it was absolutely delicious. We asked to split it so they brought us out two separate plates with our food and it was so cute. My bf had the pancakes and he devoured them. Great service as well, everyone who works there is lovely. Food came quickly! If I could add another star I would; this place is great.

When a restaurant's manager walks the floor and visits customers at their tables, inquiring if everything is good, you know you're in an exceptional place. Country Kitchen is that special place and you will be happy you pulled off I-25 to dine here. The manager is quite a guy and genuinely says hello. They open at 5:30am and close at 8pm, a rarity these days. The menu is solid, packed with many choices of hearty fare. The servers are constantly checking back with you to make sure you have a perfect meal and the kitchen staff shout out the new orders like they want you to know they have your meal underway.

So glad that we chose this country kitchen location on our trip to Denver. Been many years since I've been to one and glad we stopped. We were served immediately and a drink order was taken just as quick. We placed her order and we're waiting patiently for it when a different waitress came and told us that they were out of a product and so I quickly made another decision and it did not take too much longer. Our food was delicious and plentiful. Seems a little higher price but it was worth it. We will visit again in the future thank you so much and PS they offer a military or first responder discount.

Food was slow to come out. Waitress was rude and reached across everyone instead of walking around the table to serve the food. She did not come back to check on us at all and the Arnold Palmer was awful just fasted like water with lemon. Chocolate shake was ok. They used to give you the glass and the mixer together to top it off they don’t anymore. Food portions are small and prices are outrageous. They charge a gratuity for 5 or more but have it in small writing where people can’t notice it. Seems to me if they are going to automatically take 18% gratuity we would get better service but we didn’t and they know it so they don’t care how they treat you. Make sure you check your bill as they add extra charges. We took a break from coming here about a year ago and thought we would give it a try today but now we know we won’t ever go back. If you want amazing service and big portions of food that isn’t from frozen and real fresh meat for a lower price and amazing customer service and satisfaction guaranteed go to the Fire Pit Restaurant they are family owned and serve fresh and always make sure things are right and will go talk to the table to make sure they are happy and have everything they need. You will literally feel like you are eating at a families house. Plus they never charge an automatic gratuity and we have had tables with over 13 people and everyone had separate checks and the waitresses always make more money than a gratuity charge. Seems to me Country Kitchen charges this fee because they can’t get what they need in tips because of the horrible service. It’s a shame to see how downhill this restaurant has gotten. My kids grew up eating here and now they are all older and even see things not the same place it...

This place is one health code violation, after poor management, after a sad excuse for a head cook. We placed a to go order, and we were told 15 minutes. Arrived approx 15 min after placing the order and food had not been started. Kitchen staff was so loud, and over heard saying "ok that employees order is out now for this "to go."" The hostess was no where to be found for over 20 minutes. In that time a server rang up the order and not realizing what her role was at the restaurant I placed 4$ in the tip jar at the hostess stand. Not 2 minutes later the "manager" walks up takes the tip out of the jar and puts it in the actual hostess tip cup. Instead of giving it to the waitress that provided the service. Back to the kitchen. The "head cook" apparently doesn't know the menu. Both items came with pancakes. He only put down one order. And again the server not the host asked where the other set was. Took the kitchen over 12 minutes to make 2 pancakes. This was probably due to the "head cook" pecking food off the line and eating with his bare hands right in front of the service window for me to see. At first I though it might be gum. But he would leave the window not chewing and come back with a fresh bite of food. Slow/ sloppy cooks, missing/ mis-asigned staff, manager and dishwasher glares for the looks of disbelief at the "head cook" eating on the line. Health department needs to go in and observe this "spit show" and shut them down. Friday night and only 2 tables with people at them....

3.5 stars.. I came here with good friends who have been coming for a long time and really love it. I live in the Springs, so I've never heard of it til they told me about it. I looked at the menu online, and everything looked really good, I was looking forward to going.. But the food I ordered was just ok at best. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with macaroni and cheese, and the baked apples. I received chicken fried steak, which I really don't like, but I'm always scared they'll throw the food away if I send it back, and I can't deal with that, so I ate it but didn't enjoy it. We even brought it up with the waitress who argued with us that it was indeed chicken while it was OBVIOUS that it wasn't, so I was quite unimpressed with that. The macaroni and cheese could be really good, but it didn't seem like they just made it for me, it seemed like it might have been made a bit ago and sat. The apples were tasty overall. I loved the baked potato soup that my good friend let me try, and the fries were really good. The bbq sauce for the ribs was also quite yummy, so there are obvious good dishes there, I just didn't order them.. unfortunate, since it has potential and I don't know if/when I'll be back since it's in Pueblo. I should have followed my instincts and either ordered the Aztec burger or breakfast.. Oh well, live & learn .. But wait staff should listen to customers,...
