PROS: Nice big room Lots of lamps - LOTS of mirrors - ones at the elevators are a little unkind, not sure if that's a pro or con Bathroom fan! And heat lamp Bed is comfy CONS: Little shabby - nice stuff but beat up, kinda dusty Products are cheap - the conditioner is awful Pillows are lumpy - they're the shredded foam kind, not my favorite Breakfast was fine, but a little disappointing, though they actually had fruit! Plus instant oatmeal, waffles, bagels & toast, I did like the raisin toast. Eggs/sausage/biscuits and gravy were all sub-par. Won't match another site's online rate Lot of light at night - mostly through the window, take an eye mask Sink water has a weird smell to it - like gasoline or WD40, tastes fine though Felt like I had to re-sign into WiFi every now and then This is honestly a pretty decent hotel, though it could definitely use a refresh. I even stayed an extra night. And while I really enjoyed chatting with one of the desk agents (Matthew) the other one I spoke to wouldn't match an online rate I found for my second night. Which is no skin off my nose, I can book it at the lower rate than what she could offer, but I imagine it would benefit the hotel to match rates so they don't have to pay the 3rd party's fees. So I'm not sure if that's the hotel's policy or just a person who didn't know better. Otherwise, they kept me in the same room and it all worked out. In all, I really enjoyed my stay in Pueblo and was very comfortable here.

The check-in process was efficient and satisfactory. The property is adequate, though some updates are recommended, particularly to the bathrooms. The shower/tub units are outdated and undersized; replacing them with modern, enclosed stand-up showers would be a significant improvement. A plumbing issue was noted with the toilet's refill mechanism, requiring manual intervention. Additionally, the existing chair requires either replacement or thorough cleaning due to significant staining. The pool and hot tub facilities were well-maintained and the water quality was excellent. Breakfast service provided a satisfactory selection of basic items.

The ongoing remodel for this property does NOTHING to cover the horrible service.

The manager, John Lee, acts as if a root canal would be favored over showing up for work.

The breakfast lady voices her opinion of what people choose to eat with a good, old fashioned "Jesus Christ" under her breath. Of course, she wouldn't waste her time paying attention to the fact that THREE breakfasts were being prepared by my overweight, senior citizen mother. No, she ASSUMED they were one meal and commented.

The breakfast itself is subpar. We travel a great deal and this was the worst offering I have seen in at least a decade of travel. Yes, I'm including the bag lunches offered during COVID in that comparison.

The front desk man, Mathew, doesn't want to hear anything but praise. His ego is big enough to need a room of its own. He is RUDE and combative. I feel badly for his mother.

Security is a nightmare with the back door constantly propped open with rocks. The room was not clean. The carpet was old and stained. The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in yellow gooey spots. The linens weren't clean. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are so worn out they fold them into themselves to look like throw pillows. I have never seen anything like it.

If all that wasn't enough, they fix mistakes with mistakes. My debit card was charged time and time again until we were nearly stranded without any money. Mathew took advantage of the opportunity to berate me when my card was finally declining the transactions. I only keep a reasonable amount of money in my travel account and that had been tied up with their numerous charges. I had to warn him that he did NOT have my permission to run my card again and to drop it. He made a scene in front of people who had filled the lobby and made it look as if I was broke and trying to pull a fast one. I was humiliated. That changed to full on pissed off.

Housekeeping staff was nice enough.

We stayed at this property several times years ago and had looked forward to this return visit. The remodeled lobby was a pleasant surprise. However, we won't be returning because the staff just isn't worth dealing with. Such a shame.

The location of this property is pretty good. It is surrounded with no less than 5 other lodging options. I suggest you look into one of those instead. From what I can tell online, they are less expensive with better amenities.

I will be contacting corporate with the full details...

Upon checking in the front desk staff was Wonderful and helpful! The rooms were clean and spacious. I had two connecting rooms, which was great! My self, my two daughters and my granddaughter went to dinner. We returned at 10:30 pm the front desk lady was Not friendly with my daughter about how to use our room keys to come in the hotel instead of pushing the button at front door.. ok.. dismissed that.. it's the night shift so whatever? We were in our rooms for a few minutes and getting ready for bed. My granddaughter was happy and cracking chicken jokes 🤣! We had No tv on or music..and there's a knock at the door.. the lady from the front desk says she getting CALLS..PLURAL! That we are waking people up, because it's after 11pm.. it was 11:07pm Well.. I've literally traveled around the world and NEVER had a Sound complaint! I mean giggling at my cute G-baby? No screaming No banging No music No TV.. just cute family happiness and fun! Are you telling me MULTIPLE people called in the matter of 15 to 20 minutes and complained about laughter? At 11pm on a Friday night? Needless to say it Ended our giggling with an Uneasy Feeling! I paid 250 per room for two nights = $1100 AND WE CAN'T LAUGH?!? I wanted to check out right then 😕 I was scared to blow dry my hair after the shower, was thinking I'd get in "trouble " again! I'm 59 years old..just getting away with my kids. This made us feel Very Uneasy and Unwelcome. Never had this experience before. Just normal happy 10 years old giggling. BTW we were on the bottom floor so no walking around sounds either! Side note- tv's in both rooms were very DARK! hard to see...i stay at wyndham when i trave ......

We just finished a long weekend here. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and rainy, so we ended up staying in our room more than we had planned. The room was nice. However, the bathroom and closet door were sticking. It was really hard to open the closet door. It could be because of the dampness, but not sure. One of the biggest problems was that there was only one nightstand. And it was on my husband's side. I need my phone close to me, so we moved one of the footstools over to my side to make it a little easier. The clock on the phone was 2 hours ahead and we couldn't figure out any way of resetting it to the correct time. And the light on the microwave was so bright we had to cover it up at night. I do wish hotels would put a nightlight in the bathroom. I don't like turning on the light in the middle of the night and it's really dark. So, we bring our own nightlight with us. Also being stuck in our room for the weekend, I was trying to use my laptop. Internet was soooo slow! Even on my phone! I have unlimited data, but had to use the wifi for my phone to work.

The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok. Being diabetic, it was hard to find something to eat that wasn't loaded with carbs. I ended up with eggs and sausage. The biggest problem was that they weren't very hot. Also, we noticed when checking the vending machine out, there was NOTHING for a diabetic to drink besides water. No diet or zero sugar options (most places offer Coke, which I cannot drink anyway). Also there were no prices on the vending machine.

All in all, it was a pleasant stay. The problems were minor. But may want to...
