La Perla Oriental — Restaurant in Puerto Rico

This is not Chinese or any type of Asian american food this is latino food with a little Asian. All latin flavor and definitely too greasy its my second time trying. His crab rangoon is filled with coleslaw and onions. no cream cheese or crabmeat. Last time i had the chicken pepper combo his rice is latino style rice fried with some soy sauce. And his combination means it comes with French fries. Today i had his lomain mixto. And it was hardy filled with chicken and beef and three large shrimps. It had baby corn and some pieces of cabbage and mushrooms . It was bland and very greasy. I gave them back their food told them i couldn't eat it and all they can say is its its not to everyone's liking. All i can say to that was too bad. Not the type to leave a 5 star review for fast food or joints like Chinese restaurants but coming from NY where good chinos are are common, this is the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Nice clean island style Chinese food that doesn’t get you bloating and the flavor is alll there. Get the boneless spare ribs and it will tell you all you need to know. I’m from this area, so I will update if they go bad (quality, etc.). I really hope they stay good.

It had a weird smell in the dining room, like some cleaning product. Therefore the 3 stars there.
