Coach's Corner — Restaurant in Purcellville

This was one of our Go To spots with the kids....food not always great but usually good and they would fix things that weren't right..but the service has always been hit or miss... and then - a waitress was rude and wouldn't pay attention during the order - not sure what was going on with her...and when the food came out the kids order was a mess...the pizza was all wrong...it went down hill from there fast. She took the pizza back and said she would fix it....45 minutes later still no pizza for the kids.. so we asked another waitress to check...the original waitress ran back to the kitchen and brought out a cold pizza that was missing three slices. She then told us to stop complaining because it would upset the other dinners. The manager came over and asked us what's wrong with the pizza since we already ate part of it. When we told him that the cold pizza was brought out that way he waived the tab and asked if we wanted to order anything else on the house.... which of course is the right thing to do but we declined his offer.. It is really hard to recommend a place, or to go back again when something this crazy happens. We really want to support a local businesses, but they have to stay on top of their game too. Maybe Coach's Corner needs to decide if it is a family friendly place, or just a...

First time we went here about a month ago I would have given it 3 stars, 4 for the food and 2 for the service. It was empty that night and service still took forever, and one of the waiters walked around looking like he hated life and it was a major inconvenience for him to be there. Food was good though and our individual waitress was good. Went back tonight and a solid one star on both. Food wasn't good, the cheese that came with our pretzels was bad and the waitress actually started to say that's impossible because we just opened... Opened what? The jar it came in? Every time I asked for her anything she responded in a I'm being nice because I have to be kind of tone, like I was inconveniencing her by asking, and once again it took forever to get our food. Oh and lets not forget that we walked in a party of 3, were told itd be about 5 minutes, and a few minutes later another group of 3 walked in a a waitress came up and tried to seat them right away without even asking if we'd been helped or who was next for a table. Went in tonight with a friend with the intention of having a nice meal. It took 8-10 minutes for the waiter to show up with the menus and then over 10 minutes to get a beer. We asked for bottles of a particular beer and received the wrong beer in bottles the first time and draft beer when it was supposedly corrected. I think the waiter poured the open bottles into our glasses and tried to pass it off as the beer we ordered. We know our beer and that wasn’t it. The food arrived and the chicken tenders were so small they looked like chicken nuggets. My sandwich was okay, but I’ve had the same sandwich there a number of times before and it was so much better. The fries were pathetic looking. Lastly, we asked for separate checks and the waiter put our orders together on one check. The waiter was extremely new or just didn’t know what he was doing.
