Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Puyallup

Every time I pass by this place I get a greeting when it isn't too busy. Their food is always prepared fresh. This is why there can be a wait time, but it's well worth it. If something doesn't taste well, they're ready to replace a substitute with a fresher product.

The staff is very friendly and like to offer suggestions on which dip goes best with different flavors of pretzels. I've been going to this place for many years and almost always have a pleasant experience.

My favorite pretzel and dip combination is the cinnamon sugar pretzel with caramel dip. There's also the pretzel dog nuggets with hot salsa cheese. The pepperoni nuggets go well with marinara sauce. One new thing I had tried this year was the jalapeno prezel with cream cheese. Yum!

Their frozen lemonades are refreshing especially when there's warm weather outside. Their pretzels are an anytime treat to snack on wherever I go.

Best place to park to get here quicker in the South Hill Mall Entrance is the one in between...

I was there at about 820 and they were out of pretzels without salt and I was there to buy 6 of them. But they informed me that they weren't gonna be making any more for the night. All snooty. Ok?! And then the cheese was like they packaged it themselves and it was like some ghetto nacho cheese sauce from Walmart. 👎👎And the pretzels we did end up getting were so nasty we just ended up throwing EVERYTHING away.🤮 Maybe if the invested 1/2 as much time chit chatting into their JOB you know the thing that they are getting PAID TO DO🤔... maybe then I would have left there happy🤔. Needless to say I probably won't be going back to that...

I like this place well enough, and the staff is super pleasant, but I’d highly highly suggest you advise staff to take breaks out of view. It’s super frustrating to be in line and see 2-3 staff members eating, talking, and standing at the end while an impatient line forms and one person is ringing out guests. It feels really unfair to both the people in line and the person behind the counter who have to answer the question of why people are behind the counter but not helping with the line (or eating!)
