Went to Red Robin for lunch. We had 4 adults and 2 children. Our waiter was nice but was not very bright. I ordered a Southwest Chicken Salad and said at least twice that I didn't want the type of chicken that came with it and just wanted the regular crispy chicken. A different waiter brought out my salad, and I could see right away it was the seasoned chicken. I told the waiter that I asked for regular chicken and she said that is the way it comes and I said I told the other waiter that I didn't want the chicken coated in Ajao that I just wanted regular chicken at least twice because he seemed like he was confused, so I had repeated myself to make sure he understood. She actually gave me a dirty look and said "fine" The salad was so bad that I only took 3 bites. I could tell that the lettuce had been frozen. It was limp and very wet. The chicken was horribly overcooked, dry, and hard. My daughter In- laws salad was also not good. My son ordered a burger but got the wrong kind. He just ate it instead of sending it back. After I tried the salad and knew I wasn't going to eat the lettuce, I thought well I'll just eat the chicken." I didn't even comment on the bad lettuce, but I asked for some of the sauce that came with the fries and onion rings. The waiter said "oh you want" and named some sauce and I said "I don't know the name of the sauce but I want whatever sauce it was that came with the fries and onion rings. He named a sauce again, and I had to repeat myself and say, "I don't know what the sauce is called but it came with the fries and onion rings. He came back with plain BBQ sauce. I asked him if I needed to mix my ranch with the BBQ sauce to make the sauce I asked for he said oh you didn't want BBQ sauce?" I said I wanted the sauce that came with the fries, and my onion rings. He said oh you want and named the sauce." I said if that's what came with the fries and onion rings, then yes, that's what I want. He finally brought me the correct sauce. I dipped my chicken in the sauce and discovered how bad the chicken was. I brought it home for my dog, and he wouldn't eat it. He brought 4 separate checks and didn't even ask if we wanted them separate. There are a few other things, but I think I made the point. Red Robin is expensive but has always had a great staff and good food, but this trip was bad enough that I may never go back. The fries and onion rings were good. The fry sauce...
Read moreThe wait to be seated was supposed to be 15 mins..we got in at around 10 mins!! This being said was the ONLY good/great thing about our experience..We were seated and it took about 15 mins before our server EVEN acknowledged us. He took our orders and we waited for another roughly 15 mins for our drinks.. Our food comes to us about 40 mins after ordering. My order was a chicken teriyaki sandwich which I asked for a crispy chicken no lettuce and pepper Jack cheese. All the other orders were 2 kids clucks and fries and 1 adult clucks and fries. All the meals were as if they sat waiting to be served for a while. The fries were dead and cold and my sandwich was cold along with cheddar cheese. At least it was a crispy chicken with no lettuce. The cheddar cheese wasnât barely melted. Looked as if the cheese was just put on before it was served. Also before our food was served we all could have used a round of refills and we had asked one server if theyâd be willing to get them for us or let our server know. Our server came by saying he would get our drinksâŚoh I got you guys now worries..his favorite phraseâŚit wasnât until we were all pretty much waiting for our refill of fries that I decided to walk to the bar in which the bar had a REALLY BAD SMELL as you walk into it..so then we decide that we need to leave due to having to be somewhere. So we told our server and asked if we wanted a lid for our ranch and our fries to go with to go cups for our drinksâŚwhat does he bring Campfire sauce..in which I asked what is that? He replied you asked for that I said nopeđ needless to say it was not crazy busy no one in the lobby after we were sat and we only received 25% off At this moment it would have been nice for a manager to come to our table. Iâve worked as a server and to me this was extremely unacceptable. I can understand one time passing and forgetting drinks but passing us a few times..not good! Terrible service terrible food our...
Read moreWhile on vacation 11/15/2024 .. table 46/6 time 5:55 p.m. stopped by for dinner with girlfriends. Iâve enjoyed Red Robin here in Tx, this was not our experience while visiting this location. Our waiter Ethan screwed up 3 out of 4 orders. We didnât complain until we got our bills and I noticed one of my friends who had stepped out had been charged for a separate order of onion rings. I proceed to question him thinking itâs a burger basket, she just substituted the fries for onion rings. At the moment she came back to the table and explained it to her. He then turns to me and says if Iâm satisfied with the answer. I said if she doesnât have a problem with it. Then Iâm good. He then proceeds to tells me I have an attitude. said are you satisfied with the answer. Ethan doesnât know me. I thought I was nice when he deleted my order and had to repeat it, at which time he told me had a brain injury. I have a friend with a brain injury as well. My other friend who had also ordered the avocado burger got the same thing I ordered (pig out tavern) and we didnât complain. Heâs then going to tell me I have an attitude. Heâll I had even left him a tip! Iâve tried calling asked for a supervisor or manger, when they came on the line I could not get their name because of a bad connection. I let her know I would call back and have yet to talk to anyone. Ive tried calling they are now not picking up and twice theyâve hung up on me. Next call corporate. He either needs more training in customer service or they need to find him another position. Customer service is not his...
