I really wanted to like this place. Truly. This will be my worst review ever. It was recommended by a family member. The salsa was within tolerances, but the tortilla chips were extremely stale. They brought us more, but they were only a tiny bit better. Everything took FOREVER. 30 minutes for drinks, and the margaritas were weak. Our appetizer came out with the entrees and my wife's food was late. There was a piece of paper, we think from the cheese, in the cheeseburger. My "birria" burrito certainly wasn't birria, no sauce or flavor whatsoever. Totally bland. My wife's fajita chicken tasted like it was made from frozen with generic store brand seasoning. The rice was seriously undercooked. SERIOUSLY. There was no salt or pepper, or any other seasoning or condiments with which to fix the food. I can't stress enough how infrequently our server checked on us. He was busy talking to and flirting with co-workers the entire time. Ridiculously bad service. Did I mention there were roughly 20 televisions on the walls? I get it if you're a sports bar, but 12 of them were all playing Paw Patrol. Those were all in our section. It was very loud, which I understand, as they're getting their restaurant together, but still. Drunk woman yelling, baby crying. Very annoying. Everything was very expensive, 20 dollars and up for most entrees etc. Not remotely worth it at all. I haven't failed to leave a tip in over 20 years. I didn't leave one this time. My wife's stomach started hurting on the way home as well as my kid's. I really do try to be kind, understanding and even forgiving of smaller issues. Having said that: this place was terrible. Avoid at all costs. (For the owners/staff: maybe you'd be better off as just a bar. Think about...
Read moreThere is a clear reason why this restaurant had 0 wait time vs the 3 next door with 40+ min wait times. We took a look inside to see a very odd seating arrangement for a restaurant. Close together tables, no booths, super bright with TVs on each wall. Nevertheless, we gave it a shot. Big bar area presented as soon as you walk in, but there were tons of children with families. We were seated and the first thing I notice is a table of 2 who looked visibly frustrated. Second table I hear the waitress telling them how sorry they were for the wait. We order an appetizer of chips and elote dip, took a hefty amount of time to get out to us. Dip was good, chips were stale. We waited another 10min or so for our order to be taken. Another 15-20 for the entrees. Neither of those times were we checked on. Within those time frames I observed what appeared to be several parties of family/friends of the manager or owner who were tended to first. Food was horrible!!! So salty it stung my tongue. You can taste the canned refried beans and enchilada sauce. The chicken was overdone and the ends of the tortillas were dry and stale. The rice was super salty and soggy, yet partially cooked, We took about 5 bites before we decided we literally couldn’t finish it and decided to get the bill. $50!!! We didn’t complain because we didn’t want to waste any more time being there or cause trouble. Super overpriced for poor quality and poor service. With the vibe being more of a bar setting, focus on it being more of a bar than a restaurant. After all, I think this version of “food” is better off as bar food than quality...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Our party (3 people) came in because Olive Garden was busy, so we decided to try something new. We were positive when it was not super busy. We were seated right away and given menus. That part was fine. The food was edible, but they are a newer restaurant, so it wasn't the best food in the world. Our total for 3 meals and 3 drinks came to about $77.50. Here's where it goes south...the member of our party paying for the food gets notified via text from the bank when charges are made on his debit card. Well, he got two notifications, and each time he got a notification his overall account balance decreased by $77 each time, coming out as $154 total! When we talked to the server, she went to find the manager. Manager tried explaining it as a "pending charge," but the fact of the matter is the $77 was charged twice on his account. This caused his overall funds in the bank to go down twice by $77 each time. Manager would not help us rectify the situation, but would rather argue how she was right. The server admitted she ran the card twice because she thought it didn't work the first time, but the restaurant would not void the charges and start over. The manager kept insisting it was one charge that was pending, despite being shown the notifications AND the bank app showing 2 transactions. Should you decide to eat here, I would recommend bringing cash. Overall would NOT recommend...
