After a long day we decided to pick up some food at our local Wendy’s. When I ordered at the drive thru speaker I received so much attitude from the person taking my order. I spent all day training and accidentally order a number 10. I was immediately corrected “There’s no number 10” they said sounding annoyed. I was corrected again when I asked for my kids meals to not include pickles. “They don’t come with those anyway just ketchup. Anything else?” I proceeded with my order and they said my total will be at the second window. When I pulled up to the window, no greeting just more attitude to the next person ordering. “Can I get your drink first?” The person rolls their eyes and says “oh my god…” I could not believe it. The person then sticks her hand out the window and demands “card!” Seriously? No thank you. I stayed silent waiting for some kind of acknowledgment that I’m a human and nothing. At this point I just want to leave a soon as possible. I stared at my food ready sitting on the counter for what seemed like eternity as she continues to have attitude with the person in her headset. Then she says “Sprry about the wait”. I reminded her that she forgot one of the kids chocolate milks that was sitting next to the window still. I think my point here is it is ok to mistakes and own up to them. It’s not ok to treat people the way she did with such disrespect. I’m just shocked. I never order from Wendy’s so I don’t have the menu memorized and I would think any Wendy’s employee would understand this.

Read moreWent to my local Wendy's last night and was so extremely disappointed. When we walked in and up to the counter, the lady looked at me, then, without saying anything, turned around and started doing some sort of maintenance on a drink machine. Her manager walked over, looked at us, and then started talking with the lady about some personal business. I stood there for nearly a minute before saying, "Hello?". The lady turned around and said, "Yeah?". Really?! Wait, it gets better... As we placed our order, she kept sounding like we were inconveniencing her. After money changed hands, we stepped back from the counter and waited for our order. So, after handling paper money and coins, she then grabbed a stack of cups by the rims and started making our drinks. Gross, right? I politely asked her to wash her hands before making our drinks. She said, "Really?", made a scene about throwing the first cup in the trash, turned around, and started washing her hands in the sink right next to the drink machine, saying "what...ever!" Enough was enough, so I told her to cancel our order and give me a refund. After another "Really?", she stomped off, never to be seen again. I had to flag down the manager and ask him for the refund. He was very polite, and gave us the refund. As I relayed to him the info of what had just happened, he shook his head knowingly, but I didn't get the feeling anything was going to change after we left. Wendy's has been on a long slow decline over the years, and this was the final straw. As a kid (50 years ago), I used to have fun going through the drive-thru on my bike. Tonight's interaction will be a terrible bookend to my partonage of this once fine...
Read moreWe ordered three baconators, baconator fries, with a Diet Coke, a strawberry lemonade (which is what we actually came for). We had to repeat the order twice for the food because the employee didn’t seem to understand (I tried to give the benefit of the doubt that it may have been a speaker issue). At the window, we noticed the lemonade wasn’t strawberry, and we politely asked if that was a strawberry lemonade. The employee immediately became defensive and said we never specified when we did in fact specify twice. I wasn’t going to let my fiancé be gaslit on top of not fixing the drink because she wasn’t going to fix it. When I told her it was supposed to be a strawberry lemonade, and that my fiancé “did in fact specify it was a strawberry lemonade,” she looked like she was ready to throw the drink at my fiancé’s face. All she simply had to do was change the drink, and we wouldn’t have left a review at all. A male employee (possibly manager), extremely nice, stepped in and said that it would be a moment and had us pull off to the side, telling us it would be fresh. The same female employee that got upset with us brought the food and left chuckling. We live 5 minutes from Wendy’s and the burgers and fries were cold, and the cheese on the baconator fries were hardly melted. Our meal total was $40, which didn’t feel worth it in the end. We won’t be returning to this Wendy’s again due to the poor service. We typically aren’t confrontational, but this is the worst drive thru experience I’ve ever had due to the defensiveness and hostility of the female employee who...
