I come to this place at least 4 days a week to eat and many times multiple times a day because I am also a delivery driver. The staff here is very friendly, it is honestly a highlight of my day to see and interact with them. They are usually SLAMMED with orders way more than any other place I deliver for while also having a heavy in person customer flow. This is of course, because they are the best. Even with such a heavy flow of orders the staff is on top it and still friendly. I am often amazed and also feel bad that they have to deal with such intensity day in and day out. My only complaint in a couple of months of consistently coming here multiple times a week was tonight on 2/26 I came in to order food and the manager or team leader I am not sure, snapped and yelled at the employees in an extremely disrespectful way. She literally yelled at them like they are children and told them to "help the customer" (me) when that is what they were already in the middle of doing. I felt offended and disrespected that she was so harsh to such lovely and hard working people on my behalf. Especially considering they do their job so very well. Human beings do not deserve to be treated with disrespect like that. If they can do a better job or need to improve in an area that can be conveyed without literally yelling at them. If I remember correctly she even clapped her hands at them as she began yelling, like she was telling a misbehaved pet, "No!" It really put a bad taste in my mouth and gave me more respect for the employees than I already had. I am sorry that it happened on my behalf. I still give it 5 stars because the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, the line moves quick and I mean it when I say I do not have awareness in my 650+ deliveries of any other place that has such a heavy flow of orders yet they are still on top of it. Read moreAppears to be major management issues at this location. My visit was at 2pm during non-rush time. Upon arriving there were 2 people in front of me in line who seemed to be getting inpatient about the fact that there was not a single person helping them at all, and only one person cooking. Moments later a second person came to help but was visible not having a good day, likely because I could now realize she and the cook (both under 20) seemed to be the only ones working while two other people that were there were in the back (who you could hear from the lobby) were talking about entirely non-work related items and not helping the two who were working, nor did they interact with the costumers which had grown to 5 people. Then once finally getting to order was told that they were out of many items on their menu, not because there was a wait for those items, but because they don't have them in store. These were simple items like salsas, corn, pico de gallo, proteins, etc. which made it clear it was completely a management issue as they aren't keeping store inventory. Additionally, the store had a piece of paper taped to the order line that said they adjusted their hours because they were short staffed. It was not surprising considering the 2 young workers who seemed to be doing their job were not being helped by the only two workers who seemed to be grown adults and were in the back gossiping rather than helping. Read moreONE STAR because one of two items was correct. Rittenhouse/Ellsworth Loop/ QC location. Very disappointed with the order and service my husband received. A walk-in order. Asked for a Paleo Salad Bowl and received lettuce with some chicken on top of it. The employee asked my husband a couple of times if he want a chicken salad! "No, a paleo salad with chicken", he said. Mind you, it comes with chicken by default. (Paleo - Supergreens Lettuce Blend, Chicken, Fajita Veggies, Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa and Guacamole) My husband accepted the lettuce and chicken only salad because he didn’t know what ingredients are in the Paleo. When he got home, he explained the situation, so I called the branch and was welcomed by an automated service that kept referring me back to an online order that doesn't exist!!!!!! Again, this was a walk-in order. The system pretty much told me that I shouldn't disturb the flow (their money-making productivity) at the branch by attempting to CONTACT THEM and refer to a link online that’s affiliated with my order!!! Really?!!!! I was waiting for it to say... "Just allow us to keep screwing up, you little peasant! We already got your money!" It didn't, but the feeling was there. Anyways, the system finally transferred me to the branch and NO ONE ANSWERED!!!! No surprise there! I wasn’t calling in anger or to ask for a redo or refund; just wanted to inform them that perhaps a little more training may be needed.
