Drizzle Donut Co is not like any other donut shop in the sense that they are 100% about the customer. When they say fully customizable they mean it. The sky is the limit with this place. From the moment you walk through the door you can feel this donut shop is not like others. The Operations Director Ty Wright and Store Manager Alyson Carter go above and beyond to address any customer concerns. They are not afraid to go hands on to make certain you have the best experience. Both working hard on opening day along side other Team members. You can tell they are 100% dedicated to the task that is managing a successful business.
The Drizzle Team members are extremely friendly and willing to satisfy your donut desires, with so many options it's impossible not to find something you will love.
They are a new business so it is to be expected that they will have their strong suites and their downfalls but with every new business with a completely customized menu, they will only improve over time.
Even during the first day open you could tell they gave it their all for each customer that came through the door (350+) trying their best not to rush the experience of designing your own custom donut!
With this being said, this experience takes time with the average dozen taking 3-5 minutes to create right infront of your eyes. As you order they make it. Fresh & warm! I mean who doesn't love a hot fresh donut !
The vibe inside is great with upbeat music and friendly staff, I cant wait for the seating option so I can stop in, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a donut in the morning while working on my computer!
I'm excited to see this location continue to improve and earn the business of every person in the queen creek/san tan area!
But don't just take my word for it, stop in and experience Drizzle Donut Co....
Read moreWhen you have a bright red sign that says "donuts always served warm" you might want to serve warm donuts. My donuts were cold when the girl handed them to me tonight.
I visited on opening day and things were slow but the donuts were good and warm. Today I showed up at 810 and didnt leave until after 9 and the line wasn't that long.
First off, I am not complaining about the staff because they were friendly and working hard doing their best. My issue is with the owner. Why wouldn't you have someone there to manage the store in your first week?
There were donuts all over the counter, trash cans overflowing. The poor girls would run back and forth trying to find donuts or a topping. There work spaces were a mess. At one point we sat for 15 minutes and not one person was actually at the counter making donuts. They were in the back making more donuts I imagine.
Mr. Drizzle your lucky my grandson really wanted one of these or I would have been out of there after a half hour of not moving. For 7 bucks I could have gone to Bosa and brought them home and used the microwave and got 3 times the donuts!
I hope you get this operation straightened out. Once you do I may be back. Until then I'll get my sugar fix somewhere else.
Update: Moved to two stars. Thought I would give it a shot tonight with my wife. Bought three donuts. 2 vanilla cake and one chocolate with choc glaze. Choc donut was warm and good, the vanilla cakes were small, chewy and cold. I personally would have thrown them out. Notice the size compared to the chocolate cake donut. You are advertising a premium product but selling something that in my mind is inferior to Bosa donuts. Pic attached. Paid 7.00 which IMO was too much. Mr. Drizzle I want to buy your donuts but can't...
Read moreI came on a Saturday morning and from when I got in line (outside) until I got my dozen donuts ended up being about an hour. This is a new place with a very cool concept, but when I heard about it i thought to myself how can they keep up during busy times. Turns out, they don't currently...but with a few changes i believe they could. Here's a few observations and recommendations:
The donuts themselves were OK but the toppings make them unique and very cool.
The line outside is misleading because the stanchions inside in my opinion were inefficiently setup. There is a lot of wasted space inside they could use for another row for people to wait inside. When I was waiting outside I assumed the place was packed but in reality the line inside was much shorter than the line outside. I had 3 different families leave the line while I was waiting outside, and I can pretty much guarantee you they thought the same thing. If you fix your inside line you won't lose as many customers when it's busy.
There were 3 people creating donuts and they also covered the till. - this slowed down the checkout process.
Here's my number one recommendation because it would have made my personal experience much better and made this review a higher star review.
Premake a bunch of drizzle dozen and fan favorites packs and have a dedicated line for people who don't care about customizing their donuts and just want to try the unique varieties you offer. Then have a dedicated person on the till who takes customers from the customization and premade lines.
Great concept, room for improvement with throughput. Will tell friends and family but only to go off hours until your process is fixed. I'm...
