I thought Dutch Bros. prided itself in hiring nice employees. This employee is a bully, to say the least. Over asking for soft top, this employee started (and continued) an argument over taking straws out of her hand, where she proceeded to get in my face saying, "you don't need to pull straws like that from my hand." In addition to that had the nerve to say, "WELL DID YOU PAY FOR SOFT TOP?!" This threw me off, and I was shocked over reminding them my order was incorrect. She continued picking a fight over this and further escalated the situation, mind you, while my son was in the car. I advised she does not need to talk to customers this way. In a smug and taunting manner, she pulls the, "DO YOU WANNA TALK TO MY MANAGER?!" Which is the telltale sign that there is no "real" manager on duty. When her manager came over, I told him his employees do not need to pick fights over soft top. He advised he would reach out to the manager and tell them about the situation and apologized profusely. Employees like this can ruin your day and your business's bottom line. Especially when customers enjoy coming to Dutch Bros. for tasty drinks.
I hope corporate reads these reviews because this type of treatment is unacceptable! I have never met an employee like this who is proud of this type...
Read more04/06/2022. 14 plus minutes in line while the employee chatted with a customer. Unexceptionable!! Very disappointed with Dutch Bros. It’s sad that they do even understand their own business model, and they do not care enough about ALL their customers. The employees were intentionally slow and in no hurry. They lines are long and take forever but not just because they are popular but because they are intentionally slow. 14 minutes plus in line and mostly because the employee at the window was having a long drawn out conversation with a customer at the window. Talking to one car for 9 minutes while there were 12 cars in line was unprofessional. That customers drink was ready but wasn’t handed out for 5 minutes. After it was handed to the customer the employee continued the conversation for another 3 minutes before she drove away. The employee was rude and very defensive saying it’s in her job description to have long conversations with the customers. They have no concept of time and how to be friendly...
Read moreDutch bros has always been amazing at getting my drink correct in the valvista/pecos location, but recently i moved to queen creek and both of the queen creek locations i have been to have lacked customer service skills. i've gotten multiple drinks wrong, and recently at the queen creek rd location, i have noticed that some of the workers are not helping out other workers and are standing around talking to customers (not taking orders, just casual discussion) with no urgency to help the other workers get through the lines. this has happened at least twice at that one location, and as a manager at my own job, i felt it is something that should be addressed. I still will continue to live dutch bros, but as a customer, it sucks waiting forever just to get a coffee that is messed up so bad i can't even drink it. Sorry the review had to go like this, i guess the gilbert location just has it...
